A few Sunday’s ago I was craving some foxs. Normally I dine in but I didn’t have enough time this day. So I decided I would try carryout. the service was terrible, nothing like the dine in. When I came in the girl behind the counter was on her phone. I guess her texts were more important than taking care of a customer who’s trying to pay for a thirty dollar pizza. I was not greeted with a hello or even a smile. During the transaction she started talking to another co worker complaining about work as if I was invisible. She finally acknowledged me when she had to tell me my pizza would be a few more minutes. During this time she left the carryout area and I watched two other pizzas sit on the counter and get cold. When my pizza was ready ten minutes later. It was laid on the counter without a word. I will spend my money somewhere else where they value their customers. My receipt says the employees name was Emma, foxs needs to retrain some of their carryout staff.

Welll… What a difference from our last visit. 5 years ago! Yes. It was THAT bad, that we stayed away for 5 years… We were celebrating my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday. We started out with calamari and Reuben rolls as appetizers. Both very good. We had a couple of cocktails. I ordered the sea bass, which tasted more like scrod. Guest of honor had the smaller cut prime rib and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Others had fettucini, and chicken marsala. And lamb chops. Everyone seemed pretty satisfied with their choices. Then we got a piece of the chocolate Guinness cake and split it. Wow! Big & Rich. Kelly it was an excellent server. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon…

Love their pizza! BUT… WTF is with the extra charge to pick up a pizza? They’re already overpriced for their super thin crust pie!

The place is geared toward SENIORS and that’s all who goes there. We ate our pizza at the bar on a SATURDAY night and by 7:30PM, there were zero people seated at the bar. Pitiful. They CONTINUE to have the same guy over and over sing and play the guitar and I believe he runs most of the people out. I can’t stand him. The lights over the booths on the side of the bar dining room must have 300 watt light bulbs in them– it looks like surgery is about to be performed over there. They had a young girl seated in the lobby available to face paint– but of course– no one wanted that– so the poor girl just sat there looking bored. The pizza used to be one of my favorites, but they have gotten EXTREMELY skimpy with the toppings and it now has way to much sauce taste. Why do you ruin your own pizzas and thus alienate customers? Why? The manager has got to be a senior themself, as they seem to be tayloring the place to the 75 and above crowd– no exaggeration. Plus, there was a very unpleasant smell coming from behind the bar. I did not enjoy my evening–

The server told me they would accept the coupon from their website on my phone so I proceeded to order what the coupon was for. At the end of the meal when she rang us out, the server and the manager then told me that they wouldn’t accept the coupon from my phone. The server should have checked with the manager before we ordered the food. We won’t be returning here.

With a 50% off coupon on all pizza’s in hand, we decided to give Fox’s another try. Considering we have been here before, did not really think too much of the pizza, and considering perhaps they have changed cooks, we said, let’s give it a try. Knowing that the pizza at Fox’s in Orland is much better then the one on Wolf, we said what the heck, maybe they have changed. The place was not busy, it was beautifully decorated for St. Paddy’s day. The last time we were at this location, it was packed at the bar with construction workers having a gay old time and very loud and this is in the afternoon, no such thing this time. On several occasions, in the past, we have been scared away by all the children and their parents who gravitate here after a ball game or soccer game. Parties of this type are held in the party rooms available. Now about the pizza, all and all it was okay, hot, thin crispy crust with an ample amount of sausage. If you are not a thin crust fan, this is not for you. The waitress was really nice, the place was clean and we were pleasantly surprised. Considering there were only ten people in the place and two at the bar, service was just fine. Compliments to the servers and the bartender, very personable people. Our bill would have been $ 40.00 for two cups of soup and a large pizza, two soft drinks as well, pricey for pizza and soup. Glad that we had that coupon. Pizza was average, soup was good.

The receptionist and manager were very rude last night Friday February 26th. I witnessed them refuse an open table to a family who had brought their daughter to perform as part of an Irish step dancing show for customers. The dancers nor parents who bring them are compensated for their time and gas money, so the least the restaurant could do was allow them to eat at an open table. Fox’s should be ashamed of themselves.

Over all bad experience. Feels like Murphy’s Law. Walked in: hostess asked if we wanted a kids menu. Said«yes, one please.» No kids menu given. Seated: waited 12 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. When she finally did she said that the other server forgot about us but«she would take care of us.» Which was a lie since the person that seated us told us she was our server. Table: had an old noodle on it, so clearly wasn’t properly cleaned. Wall: filthy like something splashed on it or it has never been cleaned Dishes on table: dirty. And not just a little; chunks of food. When I said to the server«those are dirty» she replied, «yes they are». No apology. Food: my son ordered pasta primavera. He hates cheese and read the menu carefully. It came with sprinkled Parmesan on it. When I asked if that was cheese on it she said«did you ask for no cheese?» My response was«did the menu say there was cheese?» Which is no. Again, no apology.(I was on the phone when he placed his order or I would have known to ask. Forgive me but after waiting so long I had to answer a call). Other than being a little bland he said it was good. Rueban and loaded baked potato were solid. It they put a little oil on the baked potato before baking it would have been slightly better. Italian wedding soup was good. Overall the server was effective once she got to us, and she wasn’t aggressive or overly rude. It was just not a great experience. Like I said… Murphy’s law.

Have been getting the carry out for several years, and occasionally dining in. Pizza is always top knotch, staff is great and the dine-in experience is fantastic. Love it!

Had my parents’ retirement party here on the back patio. We had drinks and the unlimited pizza. They brought out 8 pizzas for seventy people and didn’t bring more for half an hour. It was embarrassing and people were thinking that was all the food we ordered. We also had open bar, but the servers were not attentive. I would not recommend having a large party here. They don’t know how to handle it — service nor food.

My family has been going to and ordering takeout for a few years. Well… NOMORE!!! New menu and PRICES are outrageous!!! I can understand a price increase of $.50 to $ 1.00 on certain items. BUTNOT $ 3.00 to $ 5.00 on most!!! A chicken sandwich and 3 appetizer size orders of chicken tenders should NOT cost over $ 40!!! Unbelievable! And they didn’t even mention it when ordering! Sorry foxes on wolf… Ya lost US!!!

This pizza is ridiculously good. Double sausage rocks. Just don’t bring this pizza home for breakfast the next day. Definite mistake. The live music was meh and loud. Shouting at each other over dinner isn’t much fun. The appetizers were fantastic. We’ll be back occasionally.

Went here tonight to try the pizza. We had the large ground beef & green pepper and it was great… Crust was almost too thin IMHO. However I could see past it. Pizza was also slightly well done, which is a new taste for me(I like it!) We were also offered a sample of your prime rib pizza, Not bad… I’ll back to try your wings.

Had a wonderful waitress but love their false advertisement regarding ½ price pizza night on Wednesdays… those of you who like your gluten free pizza don’t get to participate in the ½ price pizza deal, this is not advertised or mentioned anywhere until you get your bill and you don’t get the discount. Now to top it off you may be lucky and get the discount if you have the right manager working, so good luck.

I gave 3 stars because tonight I went there cause it’s 69 cents and when we went to eat them there were hairs on the wings. Idk where from but I lost my appetite! I do have to say I’m not eating wings for a while! But there pizza is 5 stars amazing!

This place has an awesome feel. The landscaping in back is amazing. The pizza was delicious, and their menu has everything. We used their party room, and the waitress was excellent. She handled our very large pay very well. Only star loss is for having to many things on menu.

I had been to Fox’s years ago and remember hating the food. Having gone yesterday for a Mother’s Day dinner with the family, my opinion has not changed. If anything, it’s worse than I remember because in addition to the horrible food, the service we received was awful. The«highlights:» — After taking everyone’s drink order, our server, Megan, returns with her tray and hands my cousin her glass of wine in the dirtiest glass. The entire thing is COVERED in fingerprints, smudges, and lipstick marks around the rim. She gave her a new one as soon as I pointed it out, but I’m not really sure how she thought that first glass was acceptable to serve to a guest. There’s NOWAY she missed how cloudy/dirty it was, especially when it was sitting next to several other clean glasses on the tray. — We ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table(mozzarella sticks, spinach dip, buffalo wings, and potato skins). The potato skins tasted like nothing, but everything else was good and the only reason I’m giving this place two stars. I could eat that spinach dip for days. — Getting refills on our drinks took forever. We were never actually offered them because Megan was never around, we finally had to ask after about an hour. It ended up being the only round we received in the entire three hours we were there. I was given a «refill» on something I wasn’t even drinking and, sticking with the unexpected theme of dirty glasses, someone else’s refill had food crumbs floating in it. — The pizza is disgusting, I’m honestly surprised by the comments from people who like it but maybe it’s just not my style. The crust is super thin and dry, the sauce had no flavor, and the weird tasting cheese was overcooked and shriveled into a crunchy mess. It might also be worth noting that two of the three people who ate the pizzas were sick later in the evening. Everyone else’s dinners(sandwiches, salads, ribs) were subpar as well. — Rather than clearing the table throughout the evening, Megan had started a garbage pile at the end of the table, directly next to where my cousin and I were sat. We ended up eating our dinners two inches away from a stack of dirty salad plates, used napkins, and towering drink glasses(which we almost knocked over multiple times due to its proximity to our pizza). The amount of times she moved someone’s dirty plate or an empty water pitcher to the garbage pile rather than take it to the kitchen with her was laughable. It stayed there the entire evening and is probably still sitting there. — On a similar note, it looked like none of the servers were any better about clearing their tables. The room we were in had three other large parties with different servers and after they had gone, I noticed their tables were left uncleared for the rest of the night. Literally stacks of plates with food still on them that just sat there untouched for hours. I’m guessing they weren’t planning on needing those tables again that night since they made absolutely no attempt to clean up. Maybe their busser called in sick that day??? — After dinner was delivered, Megan disappeared completely. We waited about 30 minutes after we’d finished eating for her to bring the check or dessert menus or do SOMETHING related to her job, but she was nowhere to be found. We had to ask another server to send her over so we could pay the bill and get the hell out of there. This was only what I experienced on my end of the table. Because our group(about 15 people) was sat at a long, narrow table, we were so far away from the other end that we had no idea what was happening down there. Based on our conversation in the parking lot before heading home, the service wasn’t any better on their half(on one of the rare occasions that Megan cleared the table, she bumped the dirty dishes into several people without an apology of any kind). The experience overall was extremely disappointing, we would have had a far better meal and evening if we had just stayed home. Good luck to anyone who uses this place for special events, be sure to only invite people who enjoy messes and hate clean glassware.

This is a shame because I enjoyed meeting my cousin here. It was the perfect halfway spot for us. I will never step foot in here again! I dropped in on a Sunday after grocery shopping because I was starving and wanted a quick snack before cooking and running more errands. An old man at the bar literally tried starting a fight with me! I walked in sat down and quickly changed my mind and switched seats to a more comfortable spot. I was speaking to no one! He proceeded to yell at me from across the bar and suggest I go somewhere else. I wish I had! His friends that had clearly been over served all Sunday afternoon started trying to pick fights after that. The staff did nothing. I’m sure these guys are regulars. I hope they tip you ladies well. Who picks a fight with a girl? I would avoid this place unless you enjoy drunk obnoxious miserable 70 year old men!

We had two pizzas delivered on the afternoon of Saturday, September 13th(2014) that would have needed to be a lot better just to qualify as crappy. Both pies were undercooked and looked like the delivery guy ran over them in his car before coming to the house. Fox’s claims to be «home to a wonderful pizza» but ours were total abortions. NOTETOFOX’S KITCHENSTAFF: PIZZANEEDSTOBECOOKED! While the rest of the planet is already on this page, it apparently would be news to the«chefs» at Fox’s, who see nothing wrong in serving up slabs of raw, flavorless dough topped with bland sauce and uncooked cheese. Seriously! It was like our pizzas were made in an Easy-Bake Oven. When I called to complain, the rank amateur working the phones tried to placate me by promising to «mention it to the guys in the kitchen». What kind of solution is that? What about offering to remake our pizzas, issuing a credit or granting us a refund upon returning the uneaten portion of our order? Evidently the cooks aren’t the only people at Fox’s who can’t do their jobs. Anyone wanting to have the same Fox’s on Wolf experience I had could save themselves a lot of time by just taking $ 40 or $ 50 out of their wallet and wiping their butt with it. I’ll never go back…
