Hi. Although we are happy with the hardwood we bought at a good price we had issues with the quality afterwards. Wood pieces coming off the edges and the wood was very soft that after 6 months the floor in high traffic areas like near the laundry room, in the kitchen and staircase landing look like they’ve seen wear and tear for a decade. I suspected this type of damage would be covered under the manufacturer’s «40 year warranty». I contacted Sabrina Casey who was a pleasure to work with and she began the process with this email: «I have forwarded your hardwood issues to our purchasing dept. They will contact the hardwood rep and they will determine a plan.» The following week I received this email: «I have been communicating with our Flooring manger regarding your concerns. Here is what was determined: unfortunately, denting and scratching are not defects with hardwood.» Sabrina ignored all the photos I sent her of the chipping wood off the side of the wood planks. When I asked her she replied: I am sorry that you are in this position. Please let me know your thoughts and what it is that you would like us to do to assist you in this situation. Nice lady, but, I guess if you want warranty support you’re going to have to pay them to fix it. I found a good contractor and he’s charging me $ 800 to replace the defective planks. Obviously I’m not too happy about this outcome. I like Sabrina, but, her floor manager Ryan Schneider who made the decision probably isn’t going to like this review.

There were several issues with my order caused by the manufacturer of the vanity that I ordered and my salesperson. I was pretty frustrated but management stepped in and worked to make things right with the vanity I ordered and correcting the issues with my salesperson in ways that completely exceeded my expectations. It’s so wonderfully refreshing to see a company stand so firmly behind their products/​policies and to care so much about doing right by their customers. Thank you, John! Thank you, Schilling!

Have bought alot of materials here for my home projects. Their prices are always great and there are plenty of people there that are very helpful. Their home delivery is a nice option for some of the larger items. I will be doing some more projects soon and will be here a lot I’m sure!

Not just for contractors! We finished our basement after buying it unfinished. We used a variety of contractors and bought most of our supplies from tile to doors to trim here.
They can be busy so you might not get help right away. But the staff we dealt with were pleasant and helpful from the people in the store to the guys loading at the warehouse.
