Brix

Was traveling through Moline. Stopped in for a small pepperoni and a couple of beers. The beer was cold and the server, the bartender, was nice and attentive. The pizza, however, was just OK. I didn’t get the different types of pepperoni, just one type. Not a bad place, but definitely not a destination pizza place.

Awesome thin crust pizza, their taco pizza is absolutely incredible. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like! I would highly recommend this place. Cool environment to just go hangout at

I’ve loved eating here ever since it opened, it used to be great. Recent new management has ruined things by trying to cut many corners with the quality of what made the food so good. Out of 6 at our table, nobody really cared for their food and I got extremely sick. Sad to see this place go downhill after such a promising start.

I looked up a bunch of places online cuz my girlfriend and I were in the area (keep in mind we live an hour away) and wanted to have a different place to eat that wasn’t the same few places in our town. Point being we looked and looked and finally decided on Brix cuz the reviews were good. Well I will never come here again. So we walked in and had a waiter with shorter (maybe) black hair and a tattoo on his upper arm greet us and say we can sit anywhere we’d like. We thought ok cool. We stood for a bit trying to decide where to sit cuz my girlfriend and I are terrible with making decisions. We then had a woman with longer curly hair say the same thing, sit wherever you’d like. After a minute we went up near the bar and sat at a table up there. We start looking thru the menu and decided what we want to eat. Well we sat there for a good 10 minutes and we still didn’t have any drink on the table and we still hadn’t even had someone come over to even take our drink order. So we look around and the wait staff, which there are 3 people plus a bartender working and they’re busy doing something so we think ok that’s cool no biggie. Well another 5 minutes goes by and at this point I’m getting a little irritated but still not a big deal. Still no one has come over to get us a drink or anything. Well we see 2 other couples come in, they sit down and my girlfriend and I wait to see if they get anyone to come to their table and after both those couples were in the building for under 5 minutes they both already had drink at their table. We sat there still with no service. Not even a drink on the table and we had been greeted by not 1 but 2 people. So we walked out. We were furious. And I have never gotten upset at a restaurant before. And I’ve had times where food came out undercooked, the wrong food made entirely, I’ve waited over an hour to get food that was cold, I’ve had watery milkshakes when other customer get good ones and yet this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. We waited for a total of at least 20 – 25 minutes for NO SERVICE, ABSOLUTELY NONE. I will never come back here.

Been here a few times and the service is hit or miss. On my 1^st visit my friend and I kept getting diet Pepsi instead of Dr. pepper. on the 5^th try the owner gave us both bottles. another friend had 4 dry martini’s that were kept being made with whip cream vodka. he send them back after one sip and tell the servers what was wrong and then he had to go to the bar and tell the bar tender who said she was making them right. he had to make her wash out the shaker and make the drink with him watching. it also took us over an hour to get our food. the mistake martini’s were on my friends bill even though they were returned to the bar. the next visit was fine. 3^rd visit had the same problem with getting diet instead of sugar drink and long wait for food. if diet soda did not trigger my migraines I would not care about getting the the wrong drink. however to have happen not only to me but to others shows a need for training.

First time here we started our night here with food & drinks! Atmosphere is nice service is good and food was good. We shared ahi tuna crisp app which was good then between the three of us we had ahi tuna sandwich was ok nothing special stood out but it was good, the moline sandwich was ok nothing to fancy and finally chicken cordon blue pizza was good had a few to many mushrooms which kinda over powered the pizza. Overall we would of go back again!

So we walk in and albeit we were not the most sober, but we weren’t the most intoxicated either. The lady working this particular Saturday March 4 shift was not the most accommodating. In fact, she suggested we go to domino’s or get delivery because she was «closing in 15 minutes» and if we didn’t want an order that would be ready in 15 minutes, it really wasn’t worth it. My husband was extremely nice and tried to make conversation with her. She complained about not being able to see her kids because she worked the night shift. Wow… so sorry.

We were looking for some great pizza on a Friday night and found Brix on Unilocal.This place is spot on with the reviews.
We ordered the half inferno and half Tuscan spinach and chicken pie. The inferno lives up to its name. Very hot hot, better grab a couple beers to put out the fire. Excellent crust plenty of toppings with the jalapeños and pepperoni. You made need a pitcher of water with the inferno. The Tuscan spinach and chicken was also an excellent choice. Great flavor.
The beer was cold and refreshing with the pizza.
This place delivers on the pizza, if back in the area I would definitely stop back for pizza!

While their traditional pizza sauce is not my favorite, I have fallen in love with their chipotle chicken pizza. The pizza is never greasy and is priced decent. Great spot to get a bite to eat with friends. Not too loud but not super quiet either. Good atmosphere if you wanna catch a sports game and chill. Service has been really good whenever I’ve been there.

A great restaurant has food as its foundation. It is complimented by exceptional customer service. Brix has both!
My first visit to Brix was for a work function. My group was in a private room. We had a buffet with wonderful apps (think pasta, wonderful Mac n cheese, wings, an assortment of salads and Arancini aka fried risotto balls). Everything was great and my team loaded up several times! Then the pizzas arrived. The assortment of pizzas included pepperoni, veggie, buffalo chicken and meat lovers– all with a signature thin crust. Everything was a crowd pleaser.
The customer service took our food experience to the next left. My group was celebrating a retirement. Abe, the chef at Brix, helped us with every detail of planning a surprise for our guest of honor. His actions were above and beyond!
Our group will definitely be back!

My first Brix experience was a success! A friend and I went there for pizza and drinks before a concert. The server was very attentive and we received our food in a timely manner. Everything was very delicious!
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pizza was burnt on the bottom. Luckily all of the delicious toppings covered up most of the burnt taste. Next time I’ll be sure to ask them to not over cook the pizza.

All their pizza is wonderful and have gluten free options. Great specials on Sunday’s and the wait staff is always friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for something different in the pizza world.

I am from Florida and needed a place to have my niece’s baby shower in Moline while I was visiting. She suggested Brix because she loves their pizza. I have to say I was more than pleased with their service. They went above and beyond to make it an amazing day. The food was great and the staff was top notch! I would highly recommend fur your next event or just a night out!

Brix was suggested to me by a friend, and t surpassed any expectation I could have had. To start, the staff was extremely welcoming and service minded. We ordered a few beers (delicious selection), the Sicilian nacho appetizer (could feed at least 6 people), and the No Ka — Oi pizza. All of the ingredients seemed so fresh. The entire bill was less than $ 30 AND the pen to sign the bill was my favorite brand. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Everything from «Hello» to signing the bill was just superb.

Brix is pretty damn good! My friends and I like to frequent their Sunday special of $ 7 specialty 12″ pizzas and a few of my friends always order one to-​go as well! Super yummy brick oven pizza and delicious drinks and apps to choose from. Tyler is one of the best servers :)

We were here for quad cities softball tournament, and found this place on Unilocal.Outstanding pizza/​pasta and appetizers. The wine was very good as well. Everybody, including my picky 14 year old short stop, enjoyed themselves and atmosphere was really cool, too…

Awesome pizza. Had the pepperoni, pepperoni, pepperoni. Friends had the Moline sandwich which looked amazing with fresh chicken, bacon, avocado and more. Also meatball sandwich which were both loved. Started with poutine which was acceptable. Waitress was sweet and funny and efficient.

This place has gone down hill quite a bit since originally opening.
Most notably their service. Usually the waitstaff is a little rude and they almost always are gone from your table for forever. Even the bartenders are slow– it’s because they are responsible for the tables by the bar as well as carryout orders.
I would come more often but I can almost always count on the service being poor now.
Food is good but not good enough to out weigh poor service.

After hearing so many amazing things about this place and having a rare Sunday off work, we stopped in for lunch! I am seriously the happiest girl in the world right now and full of za.
They’ve turned this former dump of a bar into a really trendy, inviting restaurant with plenty of seating. It’s huge! We didn’t get anything from the bar but it looks they have quite the selection. Their drink menu is 2 – 4 pages w/​a huge variety of wines, local liquor and plenty of beer.
We got the Cajun chicken Alfredo pizza and it was so good! The Alfredo had a really good flavor– not just your typical bland stuff. It was topped with tons of chicken and huge red peppers. Gaaaah, just thinking about it makes my mouth water all over again.
If you’re about the za life then you need to get here now.

Good but not great. Atmosphere is visually appealing and it is great to look out at downtown Moline. It is a little loud and I don’t mind noise and the music needs updated.
The za is okay but needs to be tweaked. The app brings this place to a three (meatballs and mushrooms)!
Don’t pass it by, it is worth a shot but this is gonna be up to you on if you make it a regular spot or not.
