Usually, I don’t do reviews but I loved Rasoi for many years except on 12/​06, Sunday. Food was horrible, apparently, it was cooked in noon for the party and we were served left over. They serve LEFT OVER on Sunday since restaurant is closed during weekdays so if you order anything and if they have it from prior party, it will end up in your plate. Don’t go there on SUNDAY.

For the hall 5 stars but for food i would probably give 2 star!

Food wasn’t that amazing. It was either too sweet or just bland. The paneer and gulab jamun were good but the rice was undercooked the the subzis could use some flavor and spice. Not sure if I’d go back:(

Excellent!!! This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in a long time. The food was very flavorful, while at the same time it was made mild to accommodate our request. The staff was attentive without hovering, and did an excellent job at making sure everything was taken care of. Prices were very reasonable for both the large quantity and high quality. I highly recommend and will definitely return the next time I am in the area.

Keep away from this place. We used to love this place till the time we were served absolutely stale rotten chicken over cooked and covered in gravy to hide the malice.

I was here for an engagement party today and the entire experience was great. The hall was clean and proper and the food, although vegetarian, was awesome! As a guest, to me, everything was prepared very nicely and I’m sure everyone enjoyed the party.

Rasoi food taste is unprecedented exceptional. I go there 2 – 3 times in a month and find consistency in food taste. Specially I like their Lunch buffet on weekend is best in the town. …only downside I can think of is that they do not have any TV

FAIL.FAIL. FAIL Massive fail on all fronts. This review is for dinner on a Saturday night.
They were multiple events going on and the servers could have cared less about the dinner patrons. Apps were ordered and came about 15 – 20 minutes later. Then entrees, but only two out of the three tandoor dishes came out (meat ones before the fish, explain that?) and the waiter claimed them to be apps not entrees. We intended them to be dinner so we asked for naan but he refused to bring out the naan because «it would take some time.» Seriously? Isn’t naan a standard item? He kept Indian-​nodding and telling me that we ordered apps only. Waited another 25 minutes for the other two dishes. The food was all over salted and overspiced. Will not be back to this location, was extremely disappointing.
When we didn’t want to box up our food, the waiter couldn’t understand why. Because it was no bueno dude.

The buffet used to be good here. The quality has nosedived since our last few visits. Not even one dish was good. All dishes tasted like they were loaded with heavy cream. Even the dessert, fruit custard, tasted funny.
Very disappointing.

Average food at best. Nice décor. Good service. Probably wait for a while before I go again.

What a mess this place is. Décor is cringeworthy. While we were eating I saw the manager (who also seated us) chew his nails, clean his ears, poke his nose and finally yell at the employees in the kitchen. Food was so so — paneer burji was sour, sham savera grave was too tomato purish and bhindi was stale. Vegetable kabab was saving grace.

We bought our new years eve tickets for this place. Not only they had lousy DJ, they also had assigned seating. Few of my friends and family bought tickets separately. When I called them to ensure they have seating togather, they clearly said they cannot change the seats. SO much for all family and friends going to the same place! Never going here again!

As I would say for any Indian restaurant… If you want decent food, SKIP THE BUFFET!

Decent service and good punjabi style Indian food. A little heavy on the butter and cream compared to traditional cuisine but tastes so good! Wear stretchy pants!

This place has some serious air conditioning issues. i went there after 6 years for an engagement party and their AC still didnt work properly. these desis are mad cheap with their AC. My cousin vicky felt icky from all that sweating.

Found a new indian buffet to enjoy. Too bad I can’t eat enough to have a little bit of everything. The tandoori chicken was VERY good!

I came here for the Friday lunch buffet. There is a reason why they only offer the buffet on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The spread that they offer is enormous. Having a spread like that would not be sustainable throughout the week. Not only do they offer a wide variety, but the food is easily the best Indian buffet in the region.

Was here this past Saturday for an engagement party. It was a little far for us folks from North Jersey, but completely worth it. The area is spacious. The banquet hall is really nice and there is nice gardens around the place. It was really hot out on Saturday, but you couldn’t feel it inside.
The food was good, there were a few panjabi dishes along with naan, rice and the works. Overall, I had a really good time and would return here for a party. Décor is really nice, very modern and elegant. Great Job Rasoi!
