My family used to order from here a lot and they never disappointed. They catered tons of our events and everyone always loved the food. The staff is friendly and the dine in service is great.

This place is right up the road from me and I couldn’t be more luckier. The food is awesome! The pizza and main course and hand crafted to perfection. Before this place I would order from another place down the street but they’ve raised their prices and their quality of food has gone down, but here the food here is hot, fresh and overall delicious. Two thumbs up and if they keep this up I’ll be customer for life.

They are amazing a how they handle the crowds for lunch rush. I didn’t think they could do it but they did, they fit five of us at a table in the middle of a rush. I ordered the chicken salad because everyone said its a popular plate. Came with grilled chicken, eggplant, and sun dried tomatoes. Really good and flavorful. I got it with oil and vinegar which was ok but if I could do it again, I’d try one of their more popular dressings. It was $ 10 and satisfying. Leaves you some room to walk next door to Dunkin and pick up a donut!

One of the worst experiences ever ! I always pass by and I was in rush so I called for a large pie … The young guy who answered the phone was ok but when I arrived, I noticed he was ignoring me and laughing. With a nice lady .I said to my self maybe it’s an old customer. even after she left he went to the back and still ignoring me ! 5 minutes later he finally realized that I am a customer. Charged me the pizza price and told me to hangout little bit !! The pizza wasn’t even ready to go to the oven !!!. 10 minutes later a nice guy bring me my pizza. I went home and I had this unhappy surprise … Burnt pizza !!! Please see the pictures, shame on you !

Stopped in here while waiting on a load from William Sonoma. The atmosphere was great. Ordered the Italian Stromboli and garlic twists. The food was ready in minutes and was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone and would love to bring my kids sometime if I’m ever in the area on personal time and not working.

This is a common lunch spot we order from at work. There are actually three pizza places closer to my job then this one, but the food at those places is disappointing. Café Amici by no means is a top of the line pizza place, it’s actually pretty standard. The pizza itself is mediocre, which seems to be the norm these days. All I want is a good slice of pizza, why is this so difficult?! Anyway, I digress… I actually order from here because their sandwich food is quite good. The Godfather is an office favorite, you can smell the garlic coming off of the sandwich. Just try to stay away from any face to face conversations with anybody who has just eaten it. The buffalo chicken wrap and cheese steak’s are tasty as well. I can’t recommend an average pizza place to anybody, but if you’re hungry and in the area, I do recommend going with a sandwich instead of the pizza.

Employer bought us lunch from here the other day. Got aunt Nina’s special sandwich minus the spinach… not bad. Calamari was over cooked but edible. Better experience this time than last… consistency is spotty but pretty good food if everything goes as planned.

Great place for lunch. There is seating but its get crowded, there are a couple outdoor tables as well. I’ve had the chef salad and it has plenty of meat on it, probably enough for two people. My friend and I would order one chef and one garden and share the ham and turkey on it. The give a packet of salad dressing with it. The pizza is better than average. The people are very friendly, the prices are reasonable.

I’m on a mission to try every pizza joint near the home we recently bought in East Brunswick, having recently moved here from Brooklyn. Café Amici is basically in the middle of nowhere, to the point where I can’t even imagine how they do enough business to pay the rent. Yet, we tried it tonight. Coming off a recommendation from our neighbor, we ordered two subs for takeout. When I arrived and saw the cold pizza on the glass shelves beneath the sneeze guards, I must say, I was worried. This was not pizza I would ever eat. And so I assumed the subs would suck too. Well, they didn’t suck. I had a salami sub with fresh mozzarella and hot peppers on garlic bread. It was actually pretty good. Not awesome. But good enough. My wife had a sub with eggplant cutlet, roasted peppers, mozzarella, and vodka sauce and seemed to enjoy it. With all the other quality pizza joints in the area, I doubt I’ll go back, but hey, if you’re passing by, give it a shot. You could do worse…
