Have been eating here for several months now and everything we have tried is so good. We started with the Thai menu and now going through their Chinese. Food is fresh, delicious and very tasty. Finally, a good mixed Asian restaurant in Monroe.

I really enjoy the sushi here & try different ones each time & honestly haven’t had a single bad one! They have a great weekend deal which you can get buy one get one sushi roll which is a big plus! Sushi can get expensive & between my boyfriend & I we can eat 4 rolls! Only downside is they are closed on Sunday’s which was kind of our sushi day!

I was staying at the Courtyard MARRIOTT nearby and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the scallion pancakes(amazing), garlic shrimp, tom yum soup, to name a few… biggest kudos for me… The food arrived within the 45 minutes quoted, food was nice and hot, they did not forget any of my requests like hot chili oil on the side, plates/forks and last but not least, prices were totally on point. I wish I ordered a bigger shrimp in garlic sauce because that was outstanding. When I stay at this hotel again, or if you do, ask for this delivery menu!

These guys have really stepped it up! The Chicken and Broccoli dish that I originally called«boring» is much tastier now. The sushi is excellent! On Saturdays, EVERY roll is BOGO Free! The people working here are still awesome. Prices are lower. Vegetable Spring Rolls are delicious. Pad Thai is still one of my favorites around. I highly recommend Eastern Bistro!

Very good sushi and Chinese dishes. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are good.

Food was just average. Nothing really to rave about. The pad Thai didn’t have much flavor. Sushi was ok at best. Will give it one more shot to see if they improve.

Have had sushi twice from here and great both times! Very fresh. The salad and miso soup that comes with the roll special were also both great, very fresh. Better than average for a Thai/Japanese/Chinese food place. Also, the delivery was really quick! Recommended!

Tried this place after hearing really good things from a few people. I got the Pad Thai which was excellent, the best I’ve had around here by far. The veggie dumplings & walnut shrimp were also good. The ingredients are fresh & I didn’t feel terrible after like I normally get after eating chinese food. Only downside, it’s pretty pricey. If your looking for higher quality than the standard chinese takeout around here then it’s worth it.

I eat here regularly as I work in the area. If going for lunch durring the week I suggest you order ahead of time. I have not been disappointed. I recommend the sushi lunch special and the pad thai noodles. Delicious! So delicious I find my self driving here just for lunch on the weekends when I’m not working.

Disappointed and pissed off! I was craving Bourbon chicken and decided to stop by here for lunch since it was close to my office. I saw it was on the lunch special section and had asked the cashier for take out, I had specifically asked her how the chicken is cooked. She told me it would be grilled and in a bourbon sauce. I told her that I had gotten Bourbon from another Chinese take out and it turned out to be boiled chicken in a bourbon sauce. She assured me again that it is grilled fresh bourbon sauce. I was excited once I got my food, I went back to my office open up the platter and what did I get? Boiled chicken in a sweet soy sauce reduction. It tasted horrible! On top of that I paid $ 4.50 for California roll that was horrible. Almost $ 15 on lunch and I can’t even enjoy it. I am quite pissed off. Why lied to about it? you know I am ordering it and going to see it. You could have recommend something else and I would have been fine. Never going back.

Just about average. The pork dumplings and yellowtail scallion rolls were ok. Hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour(actually asked for vinegar!) and my chicken with eggplant was woefully sweet! However my husband enjoyed the ginger duck that he ordered. The place itself is very basic but service is good. Something that we didn’t appreciate at all(but didn’t bother to bring to our server’s attention) was that we were charged for the brown rice. White rice comes with all entrées, and we asked the if they could swap it for brown rice — to which they agreed, no mention of an extra charge. Will we go back anytime soon? Nope.

First time visit for dinner for 4 + 2 year old. Had wonton soup(broth a little salty, but wontons good), scallion pancake & gyoza(both excellent) and then General Tso’s tofu, excellent eggplant. Sesame chicken(outstanding), a moderately hot chicken and shrimp dish and a mild Thai curry. This was followed by their ice-cream special and fried banana(could have used a bit more sweetness). The beginning of a beautiful friendship

The food is good. A little on the pricey side, but tasty. This review is for EVERYTHING else. First off, the woman on the other end of the phone, did not make me feel as though they wanted my business. Was not pleasant and to be honest, really didn’t know a thing about her job. She sent the driver to the wrong address, even after I repeated the address and spelled it out for her. This gave us about a 20 minute delay in getting our order. Then, we see that she completely left out one very important item that my husband HEARD me order. Which resulted in him having to go back out to complete his dinner. They didn’t give us enough chopsticks, soy sauce, etc. A word of advice to this new establishment, if you want to last long… step up your game. Sound like you actually want to take someone’s order when you pick up the phone and LISTEN!!! There are WAY too many options in this area for you to slack like this. Will not return.

My fiancé and I came here one Saturday afternoon to try out the lunch specials. We were not disappointed! As other reviews said, a lot of it is your usual chinese food dishes-but prepared much fresher and a lot less greasy. We loved it! I ordered sesame chicken with vegetable fried rice, and we both got one sushi roll to try that as well. Everything was freshly prepared and bought out very quickly. My chicken was so flavorful and the sauce was delicious — the sushi was great as well, nothing crazy but well prepared and yummy. We will definitely come again.

This is a small but clean and beautiful place. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing! I called ahead for a lunch special and it was there waiting when I arrived. I’m pleasantly surprised at how fresh and ungreasy the food tastes compared to regular chinese take out. So happy this placed opened here!

Place shows potential. Your run of the mill Thai/Chinese/Japanese restaurant. Food was pretty tasty though. I had the steamed gyoza and bourbon chicken with vegetable fried rice. The dumplings were obviously made on the premises and not the ones all the other restaurants use. For dumplings a sign of putting in effort is the number of folds and these had quite a few. The meat inside was also seasoned and juicy. The bourbon chicken was not your usual mall bourbon chicken, but more of a barbecue chicken. Flavor was okay but it could have used a sauce. The only complaint I have is that the tea tasted like dish water bleh…

I really wanted to love this place and maybe if it wasn’t a cold rainy day and I wasn’t starving, I would be giving it a higher review. What I expected was traditional chinese food. What I got was a lighter version of it… now don’t get me wrong, the vegetables were super fresh but the sauces were almost watered down so that it wasn’t the type of flavor you come to expect from chinese food. My friend ordered the General Tso’s chicken which was a much lighter and less flavorful version of the original and I ordered the vegetables and tofu in a brown sauce which was also the same. I do admit that the food was super fresh and I got plenty of tofu with my meal and they were not skimpy about that. Overall, if you are craving a more«diet» version of chinese food, this may be the place for you, but as of now, it doesn’t satisfy the traditional chinese food craving. Staff was super nice and the place is still very new, so who knows… things may improve.
