Oh Denny’s how you are gross! So I know it’s Denny’s but my burger was ice cold and nasty so we asked for them to like recook the burger so it was warm. They said ok no problem… Well they just stuck it in the microwave and all my toppings of lettuce, mayo and tomatoes etc. we’re all warm and slimy. It was just horrible. We did get a refund but I’ll never go back!

Thieves stole our credit card number and sent it to Chechnya! Even aside from that, worst Denny’s I’ve ever been to. Pure chaos with dishes slamming, staff running, etc. Awful. Stay away at all costs! If you accidentally end up there, DON’T use your credit card!

If I could give a negative star, I would. Horrible experience. First, the waitress took forever to come take our order, then when we finally got our food, it didn’t even taste good, we barely ate it. I was missing part of my meal, and we told her twice and it took her about 20 min to bring it to me. My son was missing part of his meal as well. Then when the manager came on shift she was constantly yelling to the waitresses and cooks about things they were doing wrong, in front of all the customers. Then my husband found a hair in his food, and that was the last straw. I will NEVER go back to this Denny’s and it really should be closed down to reevaluate its staff and cooks before putting out anymore food. Horrible experience.

Horrible for several reasons. First the manager /owner is extremely rude. She actually charge me for eating my husband’s salad that came with his dinner that he did not want. Told me she was in the business to make money not give away free food. But it wasn’t free because my husband paid for it with his dinner. I could not win the argument and just had to suck it up and pay the bill. If we do go to the Denny’s, we always check to see if she is there and if she is we turn around and leave. I would recommend that. You always feel rushed in there and can never seem to get a drink. Today my husband paid $ 12.69 for country fried steak that came with only one little piece of steak a roll and french fries. Also at 10 o’clock pm they stop selling soup, mash potatoes, brown gravy, and corn. And finally they do not honor the Dennys perks card nor do they honor any coupons that are meant for Denny’s. I will drive all the way to Everett to avoid going to this Dennys. The only nice thing I could say is that the waitresses and waiters are nice people.

I’ve eaten at other Denny’s but this experience was not up to par. Ordered a Grand Slamwich which was missing the Maple Butter Spread. I thought I’d be getting a thick slice of ham versus several pieces of sliced ham. Husband ordered a French Toast Slam and eggs were scrambled way too hard. I wish Monroe had an IHOP

Ok food, ok service, would have been a stellar, average 3 stars. But when the check came was charged for ranch for my fries, at Dennys? Dennys is charging for ranch? Maybe in Monroe they have had a run on salad dressing and needed to take action! Do not appreciate hidden extra charges, when I ask for ranch for my fries, tell me if I will be charged for it. Then was upcharged for an item that we ordered because we got the larger size. Sorry, I pointed to the item I wanted in the menu along with the price listed next to it. If you brought me the«bigger» size that’s on you, you pay the difference. Felt cheated, taken advantage of. You know that yucky feeling you get inside when you know you are on the receiving end of something underhanded… Would have fought it, but its been a long day and I don’t have time for that. #scam at good Ol’ boy USA Dennys.

There are 5 of us. This dennys is incredibly short staffed for a Sunday breakfast/brunch rush. We sat for about 25 minutes before someone even offered us a beverage and we waited for about an 1.5 hours for our food. Not impressed. The scheduler should have plans for a ‘rainy day’.

My boyfriend myself and our friends spent our weekend in monroe for a drifting event at the local speedway. We were unfamiliar with the area and were happy when we saw the Denny’s sign.(We ate here three days in a row for breakfast) When we walked in the manager didn’t greet us, she just asked how many seats we needed. My boyfriend wanted to order the original grand slam and add toast to it, when he told the manager his order she said«well that wouldn’t be the original then». My boyfriend just ended up ordering the original. Food took a little long but overall other then a cold sausage was fine. We also got billed for the build you’re own grand slam. The second day we went thankfully we weren’t served by the manager, the server we did have was very nice and we shower her a video of the drifting event we were attending. On the third day we had another server, she seemed either distracted or irritated. She was very nice but we were seated next to the kitchen and we could hear the manager speaking very poorly to her employees. You could tell in the servers face that she was upset. The server came to fill our water glasses and had the coffee pot in her other hand, the manager came up to her in front of us and snatched the coffee pot out of her hand and said«you know better». Like she was 6 or something. We felt bad for our server and now because of that manager I think the next year we go back for the drifting event that we will find another breakfast place. We tried going to another breakfast place but everywhere was full. We really didn’t like the manager, and by the sounds of it not very many people do.

Very slow service, less than professional staff and mediocre food are how I’d describe this Denny’s.

Let me be blunt… if it hadn’t been for the one good experience we’ve had at THIS Denny’s in particular, they wouldn’t even get the 2nd star. This place is quite possibly the absolute worst Denny’s I have ever experienced. One night back in the latter part of ’13, my wife & I had dinner here. Service was decent, but either the server or the manager was a complete idiot. They double-charge my card, and then proceed to tell me that WE have to wait for their system to figure it out before I get the funds back from that 2nd charge. Not acceptable… but, I believe in everyone gets one mulligan. Little did I know. About three weeks ago, we all stopped by for dinner as a family. I step out to the bathroom, and when I return, I am informed by my wife that the tw*t of a server(insert«i» or «a» as you see fit) had taken it upon herself to admonish my son because he had picked up a butter knife. A butter knife. This broad thinks it is acceptable to admonish my children, who we are VERY well capable of raising on our own, thank you, and call my wife out in the middle of the restaurant?! She was very fortunate I decided to take the high road and simply walk out, family in tow. So, the only Denny’s in Monroe should take notice… you guys suck pretty royally, and I will steer all who inquire well clear of your establishment.

It’s a Denny’s, I know that. But the food is very good. Love those Build Your Own Grand Slams! I usually get buttermilk pancakes(which are delicious, I could probably have ten of those…), two delicious scrambled eggs, a couple of slices of toast, and hash browns. Everything I described is good and always great to eat. This was the last Denny’s I was at — a few months ago but it was still great.

Husband and I eat at Denny’s regularly — but not in Monroe. A few weeks ago, we were in Monroe on a weekend morning, and stopped at this one. We are on low carb, grain free diet. We usually swap our toast and potato for bacon. As a matter of fact, IIRC, the menu invites you to add a «side of bacon(2 slices) for $.99». You can upgrade to fresh fruit for $.49. On the Mix/Match Grand Slam Menu, all of these things are basically interchangeable. These people refused. OK. We’ll give you two fruits, but won’t trade for bacon. When I spoke to the manager, she spent a lot of time telling me how the people in Monroe will just ask for all kinds of unreasonable things. How the people who work there will give away the farm. How when she came in and took over, it was H-A-R-R-D to get the store back in the black. And yes, our request was reasonable, but I didn’t communicate correctly. Just to prove that I can communicate, here goes… 1. The Monroe Denny’s is a chain. This one has NOTHING to distinguish it. It’s uniformly mediocre. Food is less than excellent — not even standard Denny’s. Service is very unaccommodating. Location? Meh. 2. The attitude — you are all out to rip us off, and if you’re not, and I assumed you were, it’s your poor communication skills. Don’t blame us, it’s our crappy customers. 3. Nothing to recommend it. Go down to that little place on Main St. Go anywhere else. And, BTW — I’d never eat in a place whose manager has black tipped nails again. Anyone who is so unaware of impressions as to get her nail tips painted black is an idiot.

Whenever I can’t decided where to eat in Monroe, I usually pick Denny’s. They are consistent, and you can always count on them to be, well, Denny’s. My mother & I chose this location after an appointment in Everett on a typical traffic-congested Friday. I started with the ice-coffee, which is delicious but needed a couple packets of sugar. Mom had the ice tea, which she says is «really good». We both ordered the bourbon chicken skillet… and it was sizzling hot! YUM! 2 chicken breasts with a bourbon glaze, and a little bit of mushrooms, onions, peppers(I would have liked to see MORE of those 3). Also on the skillet was roasted red potatoes; was just okay. The service was average & acceptable. With so many different choices to eat in Monroe, I appreciate this Denny’s as a place I can count on to be consistently good. I really like their 2,4,6,8 menu!

Why do I even bother with Denny’s. I tried the Grandslamwich, oh please don’t eat this thing, its nasty. It was supposed to come with mayo on it because without some kind of condiment it is very dry. It took 20 minutes to get a little side cup of mayo. Seriously?!? This just reinforced my distaste for Denny’s and I won’t bother going back again.
