I crave it, I’m addicted and I get the jitters! Seriously y’all, this pizza is in a category all it’s own! I have lived in Dallas Texas for 24 years now. Every time I eat pizza I’m disappointed because it’s not Johnny’s. We come back to Louisiana once maybe twice a year. Rest assured my trunk is full of frozen Johnny’s sweep the kitchen pizzas on my return home! Sometimes I’ll forget when we leave Monroe but I always remember before we get Shreveport. I will call ahead and ask them to have some pizzas ready for me so I can stop by and pick them up halfway to Dallas! Oh did I mention the sweep the kitchen? It is absolutely biblical! Try it now, thank me later :-)

Sorry to say our visit wasn’t very good at all! Greasy greasy greasy, dirty atmosphere and the help wasn’t helpful at all. We had been in the car for 8 hrs and were so ready for a great meal. Not even close! Unfortunately, we wasted time and money:(

I tried Johnny’s on a recent visit to Monroe, when I was looking for a local place to eat. My coworker and I agreed that their pizza was one of the best we’ve ever had. We had the «sweep of the kitchen,» and the name says it all (although we asked them to hold the anchovies). Crispy crust, great balance of ingredients, not too oily, and the service was courteous and friendly. This place is a must for casual dining, where you are surrounded by locals and made to feel like one. Highly recommended.

If you’re from out of town, you MUST eat Johnny’s pizza!!! You will NOT regret it! I promise! Best pizza I’ve ever eaten. EVER. Even New York. Even Brooklyn. Try the Sweep the Kitchen or the Sweep the Swamp. Or, just the pepperoni, it is amazing.
