Food and coffee are great, but the service is pretty terrible. Even if you are the only customer in there, you cannot get in and out in less than 10 minutes if you order and kind of food — even just a bagel with cream cheese. I used to work here for 2 of the previous owners, and this service would never have been tolerated. They also never have enough staff during the busy times of the day, and a few of girls who work there are quite rude and off putting.

I wanted to give this place five stars. The food is good and the coffee is great. However I find a few of the girls who work there to be very snotty and rude. Uncomfortably so. If it wasn’t for that I would go there all the time because the coffee is simply amazing.

Zero complaints about this place. Only have been once on a Sunday morning. I got a delicious egg breakfast served quickly and a cup of coffee. Will be returning!

Great coffee & nice atmosphere but the staff is quite rude. Found them to be very standoffish. Seemed as though when asked for extra services we received an «attitude» for making them go out of their way. This place has great potential if they had the right people representing the owner.

It’s just OK. Mostly convenient. Very limited food menu. I’ve ordered take out for work twice & orders are wrong. The person taking the order is curt, flustered & toldd me the menu on their Unilocal page was old. Um, perhaps change it? Drink options are better w more variety. Considering that amazing coffee is available in even cold brew concentrate everywhere these days, I guess my expepectations are loftier. So basically the coffee here is OK. Staff can be friendly but often seem over whelmed. The interior is clean & chill w lots of comfortable seating & wifi if you are looking for a spot to chill. Limited outdoor seating on the sidewalk adjacent to the parking lot. I just wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here or get coffee.

I’ve been going here since it first opened years ago when I was in college(when I worked at Blockbuster Video next door, so that should give you some indication of what century it still was!). I love this place.

The shop is very dirty. I used the ladies room and it was filthy, and they obviously do not sanitize their front door or clean their windows, there was food debris and greasy hand prints everywhere. I can’t comment on my coffee because I was too scared to finish it.

Chipotle chicken wrap was delicious. Healthy, with a small kick and came out in minutes. Good find!

I visited this coffee shop last year and was not impressed by the 4.00 specialty coffee. Realizing that one visit could have been an off day, I decided to go back. My husband and I ordered two sandwiches. Not only did the person at the counter not mention the items that come with the sandwiches(I had to ask) it took nearly half an hour for those to be made. The shop was not super busy and there was no apology or even checking in about our order. The person at the counter could not have cared less about providing service. They also offer bottled water with your sandwich but were completely out at noon on a Saturday. I will not be coming back.

They throw a disgusting amount of mayo on their stuff, whether it’s specified on the menu or not. I’ve given them additional chances and even when I specifically request otherwise to no avail. Damn shame since its typically an honor supporting local business.

Cute local coffee shop with a friendly vibe. Unfortunately though, the coffee is always really weak —-even when I ask for the darkest roast. Also, for some reason the coffee and tea here is even more expensive than Starbucks which is right up the street.

I stopped going here about a year ago because the service was not good, and it took forever to get food to go. Decided to give it another shot so, this past month, I have visited multiple times(because I didn’t think it would be fair to make an assessment off of 1 visit). I didn’t think this place could get any worse, but it certainly has. There are 2 new people on staff. The girl is chatty and police. The guy is miserable and not friendly at all. 2 weeks ago, I noticed my coffee was very watered down. It tasted like they had brewed coffee with grounds that had already been used once. I chalked it up to maybe putting in too much milk, and went on my way. Last week I ordered a darker roast, and it tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Everyone knows that old-coffee taste. Today was officially my last visit. I ordered a cup of house blend. I watched as the guy filled up my cup a little less than half way, and then ran out of House Blend. Instead of telling me he ran out, or getting some more ready, I watched him fill the rest of my cup up with decaf. I called him out on it, and he got snippy with me and said that he filled it up with Jamaican Blend. I’m not blind, and i’m also not a liar. I also didn’t order«Jamaican Blend» anyway… I will definitely not be returning.

Fantastic service and amazing Ruben. Love these Deep River chips too. Great music, clean bathroom, high chair for my little one! Comfy couch and tabels outside when weather permits. I would recommend this place to everyone. Enjoy!

I’ve tried many times to like this place. It’s a Mom & Pop, unlike Starbucks, so I’d like to give them my business. Unfortunately my experiences have been mediocre coffee(that’s more expensive than Sbux if you can believe.) Mediocre to bad service, I’ve had to wait at the counter while the people working are hanging out in the back chatting. I did have a tuna melt that was fantastic, but definitely not worth the insane amount of time it took to make. I feel bad every time I drive by on my way to Sbux, but I’ve given it several tries and always falls short.

Came here yesterday with some friends before a hike in CT. It looks like the kind of local coffee place that would have good food and fun drinks. Nope! I ordered a bacon, egg & cheese sesame bagel. The bagel was charred in some spots. There were 4 leaves piled near the bagel(I believe this was«plating»). There was also a tiny fruit cup. This was the kind you get in elementary school. It was filled with canned fruit in a pile of preservative water. The one grape was shriveled and sad, and the half cherry(!) was a color not otherwise found in nature. Even Starbucks has fresh apples and bananas… gross. Still, my companions fared much worse — two didn’t finish their sandwiches and one was so offended by her potato salad that she got into an argument with it. The shop had some couches and a small area for live music so it might be a cool hang out spot, but I won’t be back.

Never much liked this place after Leo sold it. Coffee is ok but nothing special and sometimes luke warm. Bagels are always dry and I’ve tried two different sandwiches that again were just ok. Since Blockbuster is no longer there I find no reason to drop in.

I came here right when they first opened. Yeah yeah, I was one of those annoying high school students that would come with their friends and thought we were all cool hanging out in a coffee shop. Anyways, I’ve only order one thing, and one thing only, from this place. A vanilla chai tea latte. It’s seriously the best warm drink you’ll ever have in your life. It’s sweet, with warm vanilla and cinnamon and hot steamed milk… it tastes like Christmas in your mouth. I didn’t care if was a 100 degrees out in the middle of summer, this was what I ordered. A few years ago, the décor and feel of the place was so nice and comforting. Big leather couches, board games, a faux fireplace maybe? I don’t remember. But I remember how much I loved coming here and just staying right till close. One of the workers, Anthony, would quietly slip me free refills of chai latte. Here’s why I had to knock off a star. Every now and then when I used to go there, I would arrive maybe 15 minutes before closing and I’d ask for my usual, and they’d say no! They would say they’ve already cleaned the machine and they couldn’t make it. What the hell… aren’t you supposed to clean up when you have no more customers coming in? Pretty lame. Also, I went back recently when I was in town visiting and the décor has completely changed. I don’t know what they’re trying to do, but they put it all this modern furniture and weird uncomfortable chairs that are not at all relaxing, the place has lost it’s charm and cozy feeling. Bummer. Maybe it’s just another coffee shop that has sold out? :(
