This stop was just for pie, and I must say I was not disappointed. The reviews raved about the banana caramel pie which did not disappoint! It was fresh sliced bananas topped with what tasted like homemade caramel, whipped cream, and some cruchy bits. The crust was amazing and held together. I will definitely go back, and next time I’ll grab some lunch too. Or maybe just multiple pieces of pie!

Really good lunch! Chicken pot pie was exceptional good filled with moist shredded chicken. Banana caramel pie was reason to return! Very friendly staff and very clean dining area. Glad we found this fun local spot as we journeyed through Monroe.

Best comfort food in town. I live in Dallas, Tx but grew up in Monroe, La. This place will always have a part of me. I recommend the roast beef poboy and strawberry pie. Nothing better than a piece of heaven on earth.

banana carmel is amazing!
it is in kind of random location and then located at the end of the building.
strangely I was charged for drinking tap water at my table — which was a first for me.
I didn’t really mind the 25 cents since the slice of pie was extra generous/

All I can say is YUM! Banana caramel pie was so awesome, I didn’t even order anything else, it would’ve been a waste. Still dreamin about that pie!

Top five pie of all time for me… and I loves me some pie! I got the banana caramel and chocolate meringue (my fave type of pie). Flaky crust full of flavor, and the filling was like heaven. Its worth the trip so if you live relatively close by, you MUST check out this place. I had to stop at two but could have eaten several more slices.
its impossible to see from the road so you need to know where it is (last store on a strip mall). The po boys are also said to be good, but I stuck to the pie. I’m in Monroe once a year and so next year I am stopping by again and if I am ever close by… it will be go time.
Go get some pie… you will be glad you did!

Absolutely ridiculous how good this place is… Why can’t South Florida offer places like these? Well that’s a lie. There are plenty of places where you can find a decent pie along with your meal.
BUT NOT LIKE THIS!
Ridiculously good pies, all of them are delicious. And if you want other things. They also serve ‘Not Just Pie’. And the food is very good, too. But I’ll always come back here for the pie, and maybe more than one or two slices.

This is your hole-in-the-wall pie place. Not Just Pie is all about the pie! They have a huge sign on the wall with all their types of pies and we got three: chocolate, banana caramel, and boston cream pie. We started with some grilled cheese so we weren’t too hungry and it wasn’t the best. The pie is definitely the highlight of this place.
The banana caramel pie was our favorite. Every single bite was eaten and not a crumb left. The chocolate pie was rich but pretty good too. And the boston cream pie I wasn’t a fan of since it is more of a cake than pie in my opinion. I can’t wait to go back and try more.
The staff was very friendly, it is a homey place and not the prettiest in appearances but the pie is what it is about!
