This is not the campground to stay at. The only reason i think they r still open is because there are no others around. The managers are unfreindly as hell and nit-pick every little thing you do. DONOT go 7 mph through the campground they will have something smartass to say. If you stop in the road for just a few seconds(behind your camper, etc) you will hear the police golf cart pull up behind you followed by a smartass comment. The park is swampy. Put your waders on after it rains. I will not stay here again and advise anybody else to spend their money elsewhere.

For $ 450 a month u get dead tree branches falling on your camper and if a heavy rain falls it will flood every spot in the park. They will not allow any visitors to park at your campsite not even for 5 minutes, no exaggeration there. The management only wants one cord plugged into the electrical box per site, if u have a 30 amp fifth wheel with 1 ac unit and you depend on a small economical window unit to help aid in cooling your rv in the summer months be prepared for an electrical debate with management. As for the fishing pond, they have let it grow up to the point that it’s almost completely unfishable without a boat, the pics on the website are not up to date on that but the rest of the pics are pretty accurate. I would say I’m a laid back guy that don’t complain a lot but the experience here pushed me to warn folks about this campground and I believe there are better rv parks in Monroe. Unfortunately my first Unilocal was negative but I will post the positive too. I believe a good job deserves recognition. This place is run by a nazi on a golf cart!
