The food was great but the service was by far the worst I have experience in a Red Lobster. I assume either the waiter was new or just straight didn’t care at all.

Waited 20 minutes only to find out they were out of several menu items. Wishing I was informed before I waited 20 minutes. Biscuits are the normal delicious. Server, Johnny B is nice and friendly and spot on. The crab legs were cold and dry as well as the lobster tail. The shrimp was OK. My thoughts were that my $ 70 would have been better spent on bags of cow manure. At least then I could grow some decent vegetables. My wife, however had a decent lobster bake that she shared with me. The presentation of the food wasn’t all that great, however it had good flavor and was cooked right. I will not dine in this establishment again until it changes name or has a big sign out front that says, «Under new management.» The server didn’t seem surprised at all that I was dissatisfied with my food. Did offer to speak with manager, coz he couldn’t find the manager earlier when I had a question about food substitution after it was announced that they were out of several menu items. My impression is that the manager is more worried about food spoilage than customer satisfaction.

Eh. It’s a chain. Not terribly difficult to mess up. Arrived at 8:45 on a Saturday night and there was a 15 minute wait! This is Monroe, folks. Upon glancing around, I saw that lots of tables were empty, they just needed to be cleared/cleaned. That’s a big pet peeve of mine. Not cleaning tables fast enough, but also for people already dinning and having to look at dirty tables while trying to enjoy their meal. Oh well. My salad was drenched(and that’s an understatement) with dressing. Ask for it on the side, or else you get Ranch dressing with a side of lettuce. My meal was decent. Family ordered the endless shrimp, and there seemed to be a substantial wait in between ordering and the food coming out.

This place did a good job. We went for lunch. I think they replaced some management and brought some of the food standards back. The service was good, food hot and timing acceptable. Based on our visit, we will go back.

Why did my Husband bring me here for Valentine’s day and they said it would be an hour wait. No provlem… Until almost 2 hours later when he went to go check on our place in line, he was told that they’d skipped us 30FREAKINGMINUTESAGO! I am extra heated right now. There are litera lly 8EMPTY tables in our vacinity and there are ppl standing outside… waiting… I am never coming here on a holiday again! Ever! The only thing that made this a little better was the waiter who really seemed to not want me to go home mad on Valentine’s day at the risk of his own safety… jp [That plate he sat and held for me because I wasn’t paying attention was HOT as HELL and he held it until I looked up. I know it burned the hell out of his hands. Poor thing]

AWFULEXPERIENCE!!! We arrived at 7:27 on a Tuesday night. Parking lot half empty(or half full. haha!). No other people waiting. We had a party of 11. They said it would be a 20 minute wait. At 8:10, I approached the hostess stand to let her know we had been waiting twice the amount of time she had originally said. She was sweet but said that they only had one table in the restaurant that seated over 6. Only one. And that they had a party of ten that had finished their meal but was just sitting around. I told her we would gladly split up our party. She said she would go check to see if that was possible. And… we never saw her again… 15 minutes later, my brother tried to find her or a manager… and he saw the restaurant was about ¼th full(or ¾ths empty haha!). So we left. Never to return again.

This was TERRIBLE and I’m never going back on my dime. This restaurant to generic and commercial for my liking. The location is good being that it’s in the same parking lot as the Pecanland Mall. The waitress was not that good being that she didn’t give any updates on why it took this meal about 45 – 50 mins. to come out. Then she said, they don’t have any tilapia and I only can get flounder fish. My fish wasn’t flounder, it was tilapia I believe they got from Sams 4 mins away. I don’t want to go all in on them anymore than I’ve already done. Needless to say… never again for me.

Charles and Brandon made this an excellent lunch experience! The restaurant was very busy but we were seated promptly. The food was without complaint. This Red Lobster location is obviously making an effort!

Red Lobster — I love to hate you and hate to love you so. This Red Lobster wasn’t so bad and I really, really love seafood so I can’t resist when I get a good giftcard for this place. Our server here was exceptional, our food was better than I ever remember, and we left pleasantly stuffed with nothing to complain about. Say yes to the Lobster Pizza. Say yes to the Shrimp Bruschetta. Yum to the crab stuffed flounder, and Heck Yes to the coconut shrimp. Mashed potatoes are always delish and the cheddar bay biscuits are always my favorite. Thanks for never disappointing(atleast not too much) and I was glad that this location wasn’t too shabby either.

First, the Red Lobster that I normally eat at has really good food and service. But my friends and I had an opportunity to eat at the one in Monroe. There were 4 of us and they took us to a booth for 4 people that didn’t give us enough elbow room. We asked for a larger table and were taken to a table that looked to be about 4 feet wide. We told the staff that this was still too small and asked for one of the larger tables(and there were several of them). We were told that these tables were in a different section and she could not seat us there. Needless to say, these tables were full within 10 minutes and one of them was seating four people. I ordered 2 dozen raw oysters. Each dozen oysters is on a platter that is about 18 inches in diameter which took up a good portion of the table and I had 2 of them. I noticed that each of my friends had to move toward the end of the table which did not leave much room for the guy on the other end. I complained again about the size of the table and got the same results. It seems that this Red Lobster has forgotten the Cardinal rule of all restaurants, «The customer is always right» especially on requests that are so simple to grant. The only other complaint I had is they had no sweet tea. My oysters were really good, My friend did send some of the shrimp back. He said it tasted gritty, like it had sand in it. The service, besides what is stated above, was really good. The waitress was friendly and even though she was new, I thought she did an excellent job. I would be hesitant to return since, in my opinion, management does not have the customers best interest at heart.
