Ok… She’s got a confusing mess of household goods and food going on here, an outdated checkout system, and opens whenever she feels like it… but you gotta love SNR Europa Deli. Just don’t expect her to always open when she says she’ll be open and you’ll be fine. She carries an amazing selection of kielbasa and other deli meats. I count at least a dozen different types of kielbasa at any one time, ranging from the wonderful kabanosy(think hunter’s sausage), the silky and ham-like krakowska, and even fresh kielbasa. She carries an excellent selection of the noodle arts… many kinds of pierogis, those amazing little potato mush fingers, and everything else you could want. Her selection of dry goods is great, too. She sometimes has good baked goods, sometimes not so much, usually seasonal. She always has the TV blaring Polish television. You’ll always here Polish being spoken. You may encounter Polish people eating at the little hidden-in-the-open dining area at the front of the store. It is a great place to shop and a cool experience for second and third generation Polish-Americans to connect with their roots. What are you waiting for? Wait for the afternoon… then go and buy some Polish food!!!

Homemade polish cold cuts are truly delicious. They have some dry goods but I mainly go here for the prepared foods and the different meats. Really good ham and broiled pork belly. And the best part is if you don’t know what something is, just ask and they’ll let you try. Best stuffed cabbage, and perogies.

If you’re looking for a real taste of Polish food … This is your place. Fresh large assortment of kielbasas and hams. One of the best stuff cabbage and potato pierogis I ever have. They have also imported products from Poland large variety. The prices are medium low.

Stuffed cabbage is not very good. Very little flavor or depth. Too much rice. Did not use chop meat but rather pork. not my kind of stuffed cabbage. Disappointed.

Best store-bought pierogi in Orange County.(I love Quaker Creek in Pine Island, but their pierogi shells are too thick.) Kielbasa, smoked kabanosy, and dozens of other Polish specialties, ready-to-eat or refrigerated to take home and make yourself. A good selection of European groceries, too. I love the nice little Polish lady who works the counter, too. But even if it the shelves were bare, and even if it were run by horrible people who slapped me in the face every time I walked in, I’d still buy my pierogi there. They’re that good. There are one or two little tables if you really want to eat there; I never have because you’re basically eating lunch in the middle of a convenience store. Added bonus: Walk out of the store and look across the street. See that dilapidated little blue house? That’s where yours truly had his humble beginnings in the late 1970s! Isn’t that exciting? It’s like you’re walking through history.

Man do I love Polish food. Hearty meat, potatoes, fried things… what’s not to like? I always heard that there was a Polish deli around here, but couldn’t find it until I happened upon it one day when I was going out to dinner at the mediocre asian restaurant on the road opposite. I came back, and while it isn’t very big it does have everything that you’d expect a Polish food store to have, and a lot of it homemade. The woman that runs the place doesn’t speak much English, but she’s nice and if I can make due then so can you. Best of all, like most Polish places, it is good and cheap. Things I’ve had include chicken and gravy, meatballs and gravy, and stuffed cabbage. Everything comes with mashed potatoes, they will mix things up, and it always costs between $ 4 and $ 6.50 for a portion that breaks down to 2 good sized lunches worth of food. Stuffed cabbage is far from my favorite dish, but this was a good – if filler heavy – version. The most important thing was there though: flavor. The chicken was very tender, the meatballs were spiced wonderfully, and the gravy they came with was tasty. I also like them using juniper beeries in both the meatballs as well as the gravy. None of this stuff was gourmet, but it was satisfying in a very homestyle sort of way. I have not bought any Polish goods(piergies, kielbasa, etc.), but I will soon!

I’ve been meaning to check this deli out for a long time. I am Polish, so when I walked in it was a little piece of heaven. It’s a little shop, but they had a wide variety of smoked meats, kielbasi and Kabanosi, headcheese, smoked fish, bigos, several kinds of pierogi’s, canned goods, cookies, candies, etc. I got headcheese, which was excellent, bigos, and saurkraut and mushroom pierogi’s which I just fried up last night which were delicious, and so much easier than making them myself!(I do NOT eat the frozen kind offered in supermarkets!) A few downers, they were out of ryebread, but being a small specialty shop I certainly cannot expect them to always be perfectly stocked. Also I got a poppy seed streduel, and while the bread part was great, sweet and eggy, the poppy seed filling was strangely bitter, the only negative note on the food. Also the prices were really reasonable, for all that I bought it was $ 15 and change. Definetely will be visiting again soon!

This place has really great pierogies, and the tastiest stuffed cabbage. A really great Polska deli. Every year they are at the Apple Festival in Warwick, NY and I’ve traveled over 45 minutes away from my mom’s in PA just to eat at their stand. I have a sick obsession with pierogies, so I know the good from the bad & ugly– trust me these are the good ones. A must go for great Polska food & good prices.
