Karen helped making my apartment feel like a home. I have always struggled with clutter and organization. Karen quickly helped me identify which spaces I wanted to change and then we got to work. I’m moving in a month so I really needed to get rid of things I don’t love or need. Karen’s process was quick and easy. Not only do I have less stuff I have a place that feels more like home. I can’t wait to move so that I can have Karen help me create a home I love and cherish. Karen is truly amazing!

I hope I get a chance to add to this review because I can’t begin to think of ALL the things Karen has helped me with. I struggle with keeping my house organized and part of what contributes to the chaos is my personality and part was just not having the right tools and process. Karen worked within these parameters. Her process allowed me to come to terms with the fact that I really didn’t need to hang on to all those things, those references, that clutter.

I was in a funk. I’ve lived in one home for decades, and over time I’ve gotten lazy, and I had allowed«stuff» to accumulate. My kitchen table became piled with papers and just stuff, the spare bedroom was beginning to look like a hoarder’s dream, only the front half of the kitchen counter was available space … I needed inspiration — motivation — ideas. I needed help. Karen provided the objectivity, energy and optimism needed to get things back on track — to get ME back on track, and work at reducing the clutter. We started with one area, and got it all sorted through, and she showed how easy it is to do that again and again until the whole house is done. It is sometimes overwhelming to think of all that needs doing to get a house back to being free of clutter and organized enough to be able to live the life I want, to invite friends over and not fret about the cluttered look of things. Karen convinced me it was OK to feel that, but that those feelings should be turned into actions. Then she went to work showing me how to change it. Karen breaks it all down into manageable pieces.(The analogy is «How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!») Karen teaches that approach, and it all becomes very doable! She’s amazing. Karen has a wonderful personality, and was a big help. She is easy to talk to, pleasant and sincere, She brought energy, ideas and assistance that were well worth the investment in reducing the clutter. She was both helpful and inspirational. I was shy about showing her my home, but was surprised at her gentle nature and how she was just plain nice about it all. I didn’t need to be embarrassed at all. You won’t be disappointed. I wasn’t. She is as much a mentor as she is an assistant. I know I’ll be having her come out again, to do more, to help, to teach and to inspire. Joel
