Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts

A very nice fabric store. Big, huge selection of fabric and products, very clean and organized. My wife wishes we’d have a store this nice back in Lancaster.

Here’s a reason to visit JoAnn: Custom Framing. If you can think it up — they can make it happen — just be sure to wait for the ever important %off coupon and hold out for at least 40%. You’ll end up with a high quality, unique piece of art.
Gardening? Some great pottery and garden bling.
Curtains? If you can hem, you can make your own — lovely fabrics!
Upholstery? I’m a novice and have completed some great DIY projects a-​la Joann!
Crafty? Me, not so much, but there is a large selection for those scrap bookers, quilters, beaders etc.
Staff can be a touch surly, but maybe because I’m a pretty rank amateur and can ask some pretty dumb questions… Just be sure you wait for the coupon!

I have been frequenting this Jo-​Ann store a lot over the last couple months and have had a good experience shopping here. The two times that I’ve needed assistance, I was able to find help relatively quickly, and the associates have been adequately knowledgeable. My primary shopping focus has been cake baking and decorating items for a class that I am taking. I have been able to find almost all of the products that I needed, even some that seemed relatively obscure.
Though unrelated to the specific location, I highly recommend downloading the Jo-​Ann iPhone app. I noticed that the only other reviewer of this location noted that the store’s prices were a bit steep. Well, I personally disagree with this, especially with all the coupons available in the mail, in fliers, and online for Jo-​Anns. The app also has all of the current coupons for Jo-​Anns available to use so you don’t have to carry around the paper versions. I saved 20% off my entire purchase when I was initially buying all the cake baking/​decorating products for my class. My husband and I each used a 60% off one item coupon today, and I bought a Wilton Cake Lifter for $ 4 and a Wilton Cake Decorating book for $ 9. Not a bad deal and significantly cheaper than Amazon (which has the items listed for $ 9 and $ 15).

I am not much into arts and crafts or a hobbyist but my wife is and I go with her all the time. They have everything here you would need for any arts and crafts hobby. They have anything from clay, crayons, paint, yarn and everything in between. My wife and came here most times to get different types of yarn, also a couple times we got buttons, crochet needles, thread. They also have some how to books, like how to make a pillow. The downside is the price are a little high but not to bad though. So JoAnn Fabric is a decent store to get your supplies you need.
