Zero stars if I could. I think this place is a scam. I recently received a bill — not itemized, no reference of what or when its from, sent to an address I haven’t lived at in over a year with a threat of collections and exorbitant interest if I don’t pay up. I’ve been calling their offices for about a week to clear it up. No one has ever answered, or called me back. I see an earlier post from Shelley S. about a collections agency claiming a bill wasn’t paid. My girlfriend had a similar nightmare-​ish experience with this lab.
For everyone who is or has faced these frustrations and unfair business practices, please share. I think we should look into a class action suit, this is just wrong.

I went to AMA Laboratory to get blood drawn. When I got there the lab lights were on and someone’s jacket was over the chair, and a little clock face was on the door showing they would be back at 8:20am (they open at 8am). At 8:25 the girl comes back with her breakfast from The Corner Bakery. Really? I think breakfast should be bought before coming to work, so I was left waiting and hungry since I had to fast.
I don’t have insurance so I had to pay with a check. A year later a collection company calls me because they said I didn’t pay. I have provided proof of my canceled check several times, left voice mails and e-​mailed the billing department. I was only able to call them because I got a number off the internet. The two numbers they provided on the collection letters they mailed me were out of service. What dick heads. I am still fighting this and will take them to court if my credit report is adversely affected. I am glad my doctor stopped using them, she was unhappy with them as well.
