Autism Spectrum Therapies

I agree. With the last review. I moved to the area from Ventura county and had to change agencies. When I tried to contact AST they never would return my calls. I ended up having to go to another agency. They simply do not follow through at all! Unfortunately I find this very unprofessional and downright rude to put this worry on parents of autistic children.

We’ve used AST for the last 3 years. It use to be an awesome organization. Not sure why they just gave up and forgot how to return phone calls. We have never had this issue before.
Our intervention behaviorist left the organization over a month ago. She gave her 2 weeks notice, and we saw no attempt from AST to transition my son to a new B.I.
Since then, AST has not made any attempts to follow up. All communications have been initiated by my wife and I. I even went in person to their office and spoke to the director 2 weeks ago. Needless to say, we still have not heard from them. My wife called last Friday to see if a more flexible schedule would help with a replacement. We finally got a call back and they left a message stating, «maybe there’s something that can be done». My wife called back and left a message. …it’s now Wednesday and no one has called her back.
So for over a month my son has received no therapy from AST. I blame his regression on their poor communication and planning.
