Cold Stone Creamery

Used to love this Cold Stone especially since the one in Sierra Madre’s closed down but the most horrible customer service I have ever seen and they have no concept what is expected from an owner of a business.

This location is very convenient and the staff is always friendly when I come in. They are clean inside and out. I always receive coupons and emails for Coldstone so I come in once in awhile with a friend or family for some ice cream. Their ice cream tastes great, but their prices are a tad high. Also I came in one time and they were completely out of the coffee flavored ice cream, which caused me to leave because I didn’t want another flavor. Other than that, I do like coming here and will continue to from time to time.

I love it! The girls were always been nice. Husband and I always have our monday date night in this place! Got pistachio and oreo cream mixed with graham cracker crumble and brownie cake or cheesecake and it’s insanely good!

Could the staff be any more grumpy? Lol. I don’t understand the reasoning for it. I went in to buy 3 «Gotta Have its» and I asked for one sample and the girl looked so annoyed. All we got throughout the whole transaction was attitude… you’d think people were happy to have jobs or at least act like it.

Went to grab some ice cream today around noon, after a morning at the dog park. Despite signage telling us that they were indeed set to open at 11:30 (again, we were there just before noon) the doors were locked.
My husband, our dog and I were bummed, but decided to walk around a bit to see if something changed, and as we were walking by on the opposite side of the street, we saw two people walk into the store. «Hooray!!» we thought… we had been on a no dairy, no added sugar diet for the previous 36 days and had been craving Cold Stone ice cream as a reward for a job well done… but when we walked in, the counters were completely empty. The people we had seen walking in were the employees… over 30 minutes late… opening the store.
The guy offered us a free ice cream if we’d come back in 30ish minutes. Sure. There are lots of cute places for lunch in the area, and our craving PLUS a free ice cream were hard to say no to, so we decided to grab a bite across the street.
We got our bill around 1:10, and headed across the street for dessert, only to find a locked door, and a sign saying «open at 1:00 on Sunday ⁸⁄₉.»
We left Monrovia ice cream-​less.
Maybe this is the universe’s way of telling me to stay away from cold stone?
Needless to say, this particular franchise has lost my business. I’d rather make the drive into Burbank — their employees/​hours are actually reliable.

Worst customer service my friends and I have ever experienced. We were here last night, we walked in at 9:50 which was 10 minutes before closing. the two employees had so much attitude to all customers in line refusing to give the people behind us service. Everyone was so angry in line, you should stop serving people who walk in after 10 not before. They looked miserable and made it very clear that they just wanted to get out of there. The owner really needs to hire friendlier employees, we for sure will not be coming back.

Ok, so we were just at Coldstone. Mind you it closes at 10pm, not 9:45. When my family and I walked in a majority of the toppings were already packed up and ready to be stored in the back. I totally understand, as I once worked retail many moons ago that clean-​up needs to start long before closing, however in doing doing that you the employee run the risk that paying customers may walk in wanting to be served.
Tip — no mater what time the customer comes in be welcoming and friendly. These people are funding your employment. I may have purchased ice cream for my kiddos, but your rudeness just lost your owner two other sales tonight.
You know the service is pretty bad when your 9 year old walks out asking «what was her problem?» Speaking about the server. «It’s like she didn’t want us to by ice cream.»

I love goldstone but This one star review is for the customer service tonight and server was very rude. We came in 15 min before closing time and through the door I already felt unwelcomed. The server was rushing Us and didn’t want to give us time to choose what we wanted within 20 secs walking up to counter.
I had a question about a flavor and it was mostly ignored with attitude. I threw my ice cream away after eating ¼th of it and I won’t be returning to this cold stone

Girl working was welcoming and very fast with our order! Plus we loved our ice creams

Very friendly staff and very tasty ice cream. As good as it gets, for sure. GOTTA LOVE IT!

I regret to have ordered a no fair funnel cake. It was awful I had to shoot it out. It taste like a frozen waffle that they didn’t heat up.

Needs a lot of work when it comes to organization and customer service. Not only did they ignore me and jump to the guy behind me, but the girl did not give me my credit card receipt and said its gone.
I think she did not know how to use it.

Courteous staff and great flavors and great service. Couldn’t catch the girl’s name serving us this afternoon, but she was attentive and responsive to our request for suggestions.

This is my favorite Cold Stone Creamery! They’re the only one that have my macadamia nuts! I always get the banana ice cream with fresh bananas and macadamia nuts. So yummy! Girl who helped us was really really nice!

I love cold stone, personally it’s the best ice cream in my opinion. I always come to this location, usually it’s packed you have to wait in line. & if you get lucky to even sit inside cause everything is always taken. The workers are always nice. It’s a friendly environment.

Not only is this my favorite ice cream place but this is my favorite location too. The workers are really nice and it’s a great spot to grab ice cream and enjoy the friday night street fair. Love that Krikorian theaters is next door so you can carefully bring ice cream in your friends purse or bag ;) I have their frequent stamp card too, of course.

The servers are very nice, and helpful. Delicious.
Love this place especially the location. It’s located in a shopping facility.
