Had a fun time listening and dancing to the super music by the Truly Unruly Band tonight! Had crispy, hot fish and chips dinner(fish more impressive than chips, but that’s ok). Good crowd, nobody being stupid. Nice friendly staff.

I’ve lived in Monrovia for over 10 years and have been going to Dominic’s ever since it opened. It’s a great casual neighborhood spot with good food and very friendly staff. They remember your name and your order and always do their best to satisfy requests. My favorite time to go is Saturday nights for AYCE crabs or Sundays for football! You should ask for Lauren as your bartender or waitress, she’s the best!

Horrible bland food and an indifferent staff, which is a direct reflection of management. While I support local merchants, this is one place that will never get another dime.

We would love to go more often for pizza and keno if they would just upgrade the food. Pizza seems to be ok. Fish and Chips — more batter than fish. Nachos — a plate full of chip crumbs from the bottom of the bag and sparse toppings. Nice casual atmosphere, family friendly!!! Really nice staff!!! They could do so much better with just a little effort.

My sister and her family love this place… they used to live near the Dominic’s in Silver Spring, and were thrilled to find out that there is also a Dominic’s in Monrovia. We all went for lunch this weekend. I have to admit that I wasn’t crazy about the pizza(greasy, slightly burned), but some people seem to love it. The subs looked better. Fish and chips looked ok, though somewhat greasy(they did come with homemade potato chips, which everyone seemed to like). We ordered sweet potato tots and french fries to share, and we got huge baskets of both(tasted mediocre – nothing I would go out of my way for, though the sweet potato tots are a new one for me). The menu was fairly large – I noticed the appetizers included«fried pickles,» so if you are a fan, there you go. The service was friendly… very welcoming to children. There were TVs all around the dining room, and the waitress put on a kid’s show for us. There was also a large bar, which I assume fills up later in the day and is probably a fun place(though perhaps draws some business from the somewhat skanktastic-looking Cheeky Monkey tattoo parlor in the same shopping center?). I would rather have gone to this particular establishment for a drink than for food, but that was not the way the wind blew that day. Very casual and laid-back, if not exactly a culinary gem…
