Sooooo good. Got our food super quick and It was amazing. Had the citrus roll, Diana roll, and some kind of cucumber roll. Highly recommend any of them!

Mmmmm. Got my sushi fix! Or in my case, sashimi fix. My bf made a reservation on a Friday night(8PM), although I don’t think we needed one. There were still empty tables when we got there. The service was refreshingly wonderful, we were attended to all evening. For 2 people, we ordered a small sashimi combo –16 pieces($ 33), a chicken kaarage, a tako wasabi, and 2 orders of toro sashimi. The sashimi combo came with 2 miso soups and complimentary edamame The total came out to $ 65 more or less. This place isn’t cheap, but the sashimis were thick cut and high in quality. The side dishes were okay, nothing too special. Overall, I had a great experience with the service and the sashimi didn’t let me down.

Sushi quality is decent, not the best. Got the chirashi bowl. Didn’t disappoint but should have more fish in there for the price. Great place for biz or friendly casual lunch/dinner. Staff seems a little pushy but overall good.

Service sucked. Everyone seemed upset(other customers and staff). Language barrier was a problem…

This is our Go To Place when we are in the mood for SUSHI we have been coming here for over 8 years and we do not get tired of coming back. The food is excellent and not to mention the service. The waitresses know us as returning customers. They have literally seen my kids grow and have watch them experience the many different types of plates they have to offer. We definitively have the miso soup as one of the first items we compare when we are out of town and go to a different Japanese Restaurant and we can definitively say they have the best miso soup.

This is my go-to sushi spot. 1st of all the service here is EXCELLENT. Everyone is very very friendly and accommodating which heightens the experience. Another huge + they always have blue fin which is my favorite that no one else seems to have on a regular basis. The ramen is out of this world! Everything i’ve eaten here has been amazing. When you order Saki they let you choose from an array of cute shot glasses which i always think is such a nice touch & the complimentary ice cream at the end of your meal really seals the deal. Go here you won’t regret it !

This place is truly a hidden gem! The interior is very charming and has a nice intimate feel. It’s not too crowded and doesn’t have blaring music in the background that many sushi restaurants seem to favor nowadays. I was extremely impressed by how fresh the sushi and rolls were, and the green tea tempura was equally fresh and impressive. The servers were very polite and accommodating, and I left with a great impression of the place! TIP: pay in cash and you get a free drink!

First time I’ve been here on my own. Ordered hot green tea and water to drink. Korokke appetizer and tempura udon. I love the edamame they give you — it’s always perfectly cooked and seasoned. The music is very nice and creates a relaxed ambiance — but not so relaxed you will fall asleep. The korokke was lightly crisp and smooth and creamy inside. You could definitely taste the potato. The tempura udon was divine. I really wanted this today. The clear broth was rich in flavor and the spinach leaves maintained their texture and flavor even though the soup was piping hot! The noodles can make or break any udon — these noodles had the perfect chew and texture to make this udon Oishī! The tempura shrimp was so tender and the coating was so light and crisp. To finish everything off, they even give you a complimentary scoop of ice cream. Green tea — my fav!

Average sushi. Average service. Average everything. I just don’t understand all these 5 star reviews? Doesn’t make sense to me. Pros: Nice atmosphere. Fresh fish. Easy parking. TVs so you can watch the game. Cons: Sloppy sushi with no consistency(rolls fall apart easy and seem to be a mess on a plate, nigiri falls apart easy) Made by amateurs. All Korean staff, no traditionalists here. Slightly overpriced.

I have come twice before and again last night. This place is consistently great. The places is not too big. There was a wait of about half hour for our table. But the friendly service and food was worth the wait. Ordered the special dinner two item combo of tempura/teriyaki, dragon roll, and salmon skin rolls. My friends ordered the chirashi bowl, another two item combo of salmon and teriyaki. Also, the lady that looks like the owner, recognizes us from past two visit and immediately greet us and say«thank you for coming again… haven’t seen you for quite a while». Seems to be the right way to do business… quite rare these days to get this warm service in a restaurant.

There aren’t too many places that offer sukiyaki and I had a craving for it so we have it a try. It was okay just not as sweet as I like it. The combos were okay but we probably won’t be back to this place.

If you’re looking for some good quality sushi, then I recommend checking this place out. I came here for dinner and we ordered an assorted variety of sashimi as well as some of their rolls. Overall, the uni is delicious and I love the toro! So good! It really does melt in your mouth. The rolls are also delicious and jam-packed with yumminess. It will definitely leave you very full at the end of the night. Service is very good, and the food is overall scrumptious and there’s plenty of parking. The menu can be a bit pricey, but for good food — why not?

Been here many many times when I lived in San Gabriel. Took a friend here for his bday. I was less than impressed this time. It’s not baaaad it’s just nothing special . It’s a good place to go to have good sushi but it’s not birthday worthy.

Decent sushi spot. It is in the same plaza as Chase. I was looking to get a sushi fix and this was the nearest spot so I decided to give it a try. There is a check-in offer for free gyoza at the time of my visit. Those were okay but nothing spectacular. I also ordered a sashimi combo and a few rolls as well, although I don’t remember the names of the rolls. The sashimi was pretty fresh and tasted good. I also ordered the spicy tuna over crispy rice. It is one of their popular dishes, but I didn’t find anything too special about it. The rice wasn’t really crispy enough. The sashimi was good but the appetizers were just okay. I would stop by again for a quick meal.

We came in here because since we moved to LA we haven’t gotten any good sushi. I’m glad we did though because their sushi is great! We loved the service as well! I ordered a large Sapporo as a drink, and if you order a glass of water they automatically put lemon in it. So if you don’t like lemon in your water, just remember to tell your server. My girlfriend ordered miso soup to begin with and it was really good! It was very hot which is what we are always hoping for. We ordered a philly, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and scallops for our dinner. The philly was really good, the salmon was fresh and the avocado wasn’t too mushy just perfect. The scallops were my favorite. They added some fresh cucumber in it to give it a refreshing taste and some texture. The shrimp tempura you can never go wrong with. You could tell it was lightly fried and it had some imitation crab in the roll as well. The spicy tuna was really good! The last place we went to in LA the spicy tuna was rotten! And they didn’t even take the plate away from us. Overall this place was awesome, we’d definitely come back!

My parents love Kiku Sushi and come here so often, the owner recognizes them and offers them a complimentary appetizer every time. I’ve only gone a few times with them and thought it was okay, but after my last visit, I can confidently give them five stars. After seating, you’re given complimentary edamame. The menu has a variety of dishes, including rolls, sushi/sashimi, dinner combinations, bowls, and so forth. I got my usual, the Dinner Combination(two items) for $ 13. I chose chicken teriyaki and a spicy tuna roll, and the combo also includes miso soup, salad, and rice. Everything was very good, flavorful, and filling! Portions were more than enough and the quality was great. With a Unilocal check-in, you can receive free gyoza. These were very good, not too oily, crispy on the outside and flavorful with the dipping sauce given on the side. After dinner, each person is also given a complimentary scoop of vanilla or green tea ice cream. The scoop is tiny, but it’s free, so who’s complaining? Staff is decent and pretty attentive. P. S. All beer & sake is 30% off.

Wowowow Kiku sushi has some amazing deals. The lunch combo has tons of options including salmon teriyaki, grilled mackerel, spider roll, shrimp tempura, and even sushi and sashimi! 30% off alcohol summer deal all day everyday, sign me up! I got the cold fire roll along with a 3 item lunch combo with salmon teriyaki, salmon sushi, and spicy fried chicken. The salmon teriyaki was moist and melted in your mouth and the salmon sushi tasted like it came straight from the sea! The green mussels are huge and have a creamy sauce that will have you coming back for more. Also if you’re Asian and like to pay with cash, they offer a free sodas depending on how big your bill is. I think first ones at $ 20, seconds as $ 30?, and so on but hey, it’s easy to spend that much when you’re eating sushi. If that’s not enough, they also have 30% off alcohol during the summer. Need I say more? Staff 5⁄5 Food 5⁄5 Seating 3⁄5(it’s pretty small, maybe 8 tables and a sushi bar, but some people like it that way) Atmosphere 5⁄5 I would recommend this place to any sushi lover!

This place is awesome! Upon check-in in Unilocal, you will get FREE gyoza(5pcs). I wasn’t expecting the gyoza to be good especially when it’s free but I’m wrong! The gyoza is one of the best I have had. Skin is crispy and not too thick, and the filling is fresh and very tasty. Sauce is really really good, taste home-made and compliments the gyoza really well! We ordered the Kiku Combination for dinner. I chose 2 items — Scallop Roll and 6 pieces of Sashimi($ 13.95). Generous amount of scallops in the roll, fresh and soft. I couldn’t stop praising how good the scallop roll is to my by while I’m eating it. Sashimi is based on chef’s choice and I ended up getting 2 pcs of Tuna, 2 pcs of Albacore, 2 pcs of Salmon. I personally do not like the Tuna, doesn’t taste that fresh, however albacore and salmon sashimi is fresh and good. I like the presentation of the dish, very thoughtful and very pretty looking! 9⁄10. I love this place though it’s my first time here, will definitely be back again soon!

Came in for lunch at 1pm on Monday and it was dead — no one was in here :(Even Panda Express was more packed. Nonetheless, I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the $ 13.95 deluxe combo lunch which consists of a regular roll from Column A and one of their specialty rolls from Column B. Served with miso soup, salad and complimentary Edaname. My server was Jenny — very sweet and attentive. Since it was just me(until 130pm when two more patrons came in), she came over a lot to check on me and took away my empty plates. She brought out the miso soup, salad, Edaname and water first. The salad was light and refreshing and the miso was alright. Saved that for last as a palate cleanser. The Edaname was crunchy and big and a nice veggie compliment with the meal. I got the salmon roll with a French Kiss roll(that seriously required some major tongue assistance, lol). The salmon roll was fresh and light to start with. The French Kiss(salmon, tuna, shrimp tempura topped with roe) roll was definitely a tongue twister. I loved how big and delicious it was, but the roll itself fell apart too quickly(one star off). If you’re an expert with chopsticks, it won’t be a problem handling this, but if you’re awkward with it, you’ll end up looking dorky trying to eat this one. However, if you’re gamed, go ahead and get this one. At least you’ll entertain yourself and/or your date. As for the gyozas, generous filling inside and light and crispy around the edges. Served with their sweet house dipping sauce, it was yummy and filling. Another star off — didn’t like how I felt rush to get out of here especially since they were so eager to get the check from me. The place was still opened for another 45 minutes before they closed at 230pm. Granted, they thanked me and said goodbye, but I didn’t like that eager rush out. Overall, it was a nice place to try and would come back another time when I’m around there. Food and service was great, but the final rush out left me feeling awkward.
