Good staff but a little slow. Messy but have everything needed in a pinch. Ice Cream is wonderful. Pharmacy prices are higher than most.

I was waiting in line to check out and the cashier was just giving everyone the worst attitude. When it was my turn she didn’t even greet me, she threw the change at the counter even though i had my hand out for it. It’s not the first time i have encountwred such bad service from this young lady(her name was jannette) she always has a bad attitude. I will now stay away from this rite aid and go to walgreens instead. Rite aid should really consider hiring people who actually enjoy(or pretend to enjoy) their job. I would definitely leave negative stars if i could. She doesn’t even deserve 1.

Worst god damnn service ever!!! That younger cashier is soooo rude and disrespectful! I was standing in back of an older black lady and she totally got smart with the lady and raised her voice at her! What the hell?! No need to be so damn disrespectful to an elderly woman. Once it was my turn she was so impatient and rude towards me too. seriously if she’s not happy with her job she should just leave. Making everyone’s experience horrible! I will NEVER return to this place! My mistake.

Poor Rite Aid. How the times have changed. The store used to be great then CVS came along and you couldn’t keep up. What ashame. Place feels like it’s on its last leg just trying to survive. But the employees can do a better job at making you feel welcomed but they don’t. Its a shame how honorable customer service is these days.

These fours stars are ONLYFORJUDY!!! Older lady working the register ALLBYHERSELF, not another cashier or manager or assistant manager in the general vicinity of the front of the store. And Miss Judy was a champ. Line stayed at about 10 people for 10 minutes and she never missed a beat. All smiles, all business, no attitude towards the customers, no signs of being flabbergasted, overwhelmed or stressed the heck out. ONESTARFORRITE-AID, FORALLOWINGTHISTOHAPPEN. Judy did have to call in for back up over the loud speaker, but that was only because the daggone line wouldn’t go down!

I’ve been going there for years even though I no longer live super close, the rite aid by my house won’t order my medications but this one(monrovia) is always super helpful and willing to go the extra mile for their patrons.

I only use rite aid to fill one prescription. The prescription is a special order item that 5 other pharmacies dont have access to. Placed in my refill order over the phone. Recieved call 2 days later from pharmacist that they need to special order it. I already knew that as it takes them about 2 days to get the item and was told they would call me. No big deal. Well, its bwen 1 ½ weeks now. Called them today to check. Should have known… no one called me to tell me it is ready. Been sitting there for over a week. Knowing how un busy this place is, u would expect them to c as ll u, but nope. c as n’t assume. I suppose this lack of customer service validates why I would stiil prefer to drive an extra 20 min to get my prescriptions filled at CVS and Lucky Pharmacy in San Gabriel.

The parking situation is generally not an issue. At least not in finding a spot. Though the layout of the lot is another matter, especially with the crazy driving I’ve seen there. This location used to be a Thrifty, but they still sell ice cream here. Hazaa! I will echo Loretta’s comment( ) about the cashiers though. Sometimes I have to wave someone out to the registers… The place looks rather gloomy and ghetto. Tried to buy milk here once because they advertise the price on their front window. But there isn’t a large section for milk, so it was all out when I arrived. So went to Smart & Final instead. I come here for the pharmacy. With their friendly staff, I’ve not had any problems with them thus far. All in all, I’ll average all the factors listed out and give them a 3.

Everything here is expensive! The employees look so bored at the cash registers and no one was available at the ice cream station even though two bored cashiers were just standing around. Not a welcoming place at all!

I just come for the ice cream! Well maybe not, but I enjoy the chocolate malted crunch ice cream every once in a while, especially when it’s HOT out. A single scoop is $ 1.49, double scoop is $ 1.99. The items sold at this Rite Aid are like any drugstore: pharmacy, snacks, random nick nacks, alcohol, make up, plants, pet supplies, seasonal/holiday items(candy, gifts, stuff for the beach, etc)… The BEST part about this location is that they still have the Thrifty Ice Cream stand and their cashier set up is still old school –not like the remodeled stores where you the registers are along the same inefficient counter making it twice as long to check out. This Rite Aid is located in the complex with Baja Ranch(formerly King Ranch), Burger King. Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuits, and many other shops.
