Stop N Cuts

I was referred by a friend to StopNCuts. I forgot all about it and saw the sign on my way home. I needed a trim so I tried it out. Jennie was busy but kept checking in with me. She is very nice and does not try to chop off your hair. She really respect and honors what you ask. I only need my long hair trimmed and she does a great job. I’m a happy customer since Dec of 2015.

I came here to get a haircut for my 1 year old. The last time he got a haircut he was not very cooperative, so I was nervous about how he would do. The stylist asked what kind of cut I wanted for him, and got his hair cut nicely and quickly. I had my son on my lap and did have Sesame Street playing on my phone to distract him. The buzzer that she uses is not noisy, so it didn’t draw his attention and make him move his head too much.
The only con is that I had to wait 30 minutes for his cut even though I made an appointment. If it was just me it wouldn’t be a big deal, but when you’re having to entertain and chase a toddler around for 30 minutes, it can be very tiring. I recommend calling before you go get your cut to make sure you’re not waiting longer than you expect. Prices are very reasonable.

Jenny has a longtime customer base for good reason — she is a details-​oriented, caring stylist who brings happiness in a haircut! My family of four and I have gone to her for a number of years, and will undoubtedly continue to do so. She’s great with adults, small children and has a great approach in ensuring your hair is in good care from the time you hit the chair to the final mirror stare! The prices are very reasonable, the salon is neat, orderly and stocked with the latest products. One of the best hidden gems of the San Gabriel Valley — I can’t recommend Jenny and her team at Stop N Cuts any higher!

Just had my hair cut here for the first time a few days ago and I’m very pleased! Jennie is so friendly and does an excellent job. A happy customer here. I’ll be back.

As others have mentioned here, I have also followed Jennie from Supercuts in South Pas. She is the only stylist that knows how to cut my hair and cuts it very well. I have been a few times since she has moved to Monrovia, and I am so lucky that she didn’t go too far away. She builds up a good rapport with her customers and I highly recommend her skills. As others have mentioned, she is very attentive to your needs and concerns and she has a great personality to boot. Thank you Jennie for being the best stylist ever. :)

Monrovian’s are soooo lucky to have Jenny in their neighborhood. Wife and I are loyal customers (from Supercuts SoPas days) and we don’t mind driving a little farther to get that extra special cut. She’s so much fun to talk with too. Best wishes, Jenny!

Jenny has been our haircutter for the past seven years, and I expect her to be our haircutter for as long as she is in business.
My son has a double-​crown cowlick, which is incredibly difficult to cut. Jenny is the only haircutter we have found who knows how to cut it in a way that makes it look all right.
Her shop is full of regulars who, like me, have been with Jenny for years. That says a lot!

I have been cutting my hair with Jennie for a just a few years now. I have always had an excellent experience. Since she moved from South Pasadena to Monrovia I decided to try out some other hair stylist close to Pasadena, but unfortunately they didn’t work out well at all. Jenny Lo or Jennie Low has been cutting my hair all the way back from my clubbing days in the late nineties to my now recently married days.
I’d been going to her for the last 18 years at South Pasadena Supercuts, where she was easily the most requested stylist there. When I’d call Supercuts South Pasadena to reserve my place in line to come in and see her, I’m usually given a time slot two hours later, as she had so many regular customers calling in and requesting to see her specifically.
Now, she has finally opened her own shop. How lucky it is for the residents of Monrovia to now have such an experienced, caring, professional stylist to help them look and feel good and to be their friend. She is truly a pleasure to visit with, and the great haircut you go home with is just an added bonus to fun time you had chatting with her at her salon.
I moved from South Pasadena to West Los Angeles in 2012, and I still make the drive to come see her. She is simply the best.
