The nuts themselves were fine, although a fair number were broken and unusable. However, customer service was terrible. I ordered the number of nuts I would need, based on their online calculator for the size of my 2″ x 2″ favor boxes for my wedding. I got at least twice what I needed. What a scam! Then they refused to take back the unopened, still-sealed boxes of all the extra ones. When I told the Customer service rep I could not give them a good recommendation if they refused to take the nuts back, she said«I don’t care» and hung up. Very unethical place, imo, and I would NEVER recommend this place. There are many other Jordan Almond places to purchase from that surely have a better rep than this place.

— – Warning — –No refunds associated with damaged goods — — - I ordered two bags of nuts and received them a week later as expected. When I opened the box both packages were ripped in several places and the nuts were loose in the box. I took a photo and immediately called the store. I threw away the nuts as I wasn’t sure what caused the damaged packages(concerned about rats although I found no evidence, droppings etc.). I spoke with a representative(Chayala Klein) who apologized on the following Monday. I requested that the cost be refunded or a new order sent with better packaging. She requested I send the photo in an email. I sent the photo of the damaged goods. I got a response the following day that it was against store policy to refund my money or resend the order. All I could expect was a store credit. I will work with my credit card company to stop payment on the invoice.

I finally found a place to get carob pods! I was ecstatic! I ordered 10 boxes, received them right on time, loved them, ordered 10 more. I had problems with the second order. First, it wasn’t shipped until the week after I ordered it, and that happened only after I reminded them(and my card had been charged). Second, many of the boxes I received had WORMS in them, both in the carob pods and crawling in the box. Little white worms, I think mealworms, and the pods had worm holes in them. I opened one box and a moth flew out!!! When I wrote to Oh Nuts to tell them about the bugs I waited for a response, and waited, and waited — no response! Wouldn’t you think they’d be grateful to be informed? Or apologetic? Or something? So I’m pretty disgusted and will find another carob supplier. What a shame.

Oh, nuts. Oh, nuts! Oh! Nuts! There are a million different ways to inflect my emotions for this deliciously nutty boutique that crawled off the internet and into a shopping mall near you. But the best way is probably simply to say I’m crazy about this joint. The store contains myriad confections, including gummies in all shapes, sizes, and flavors; nuts a’plenty, including a little warming bin with warm Pumpkin Seeds and other seasonal favorites(there’s nothing like a bag of warm nuts!); chocolate-covered everything; as well as various dried fruits. They’ve got marzipan in a variety of shapes, the classic Must gums and candies, and a gigantic selection of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. But best of all? It’s all kosher! They give you the option of making your own little mix-n-match tray, or to simply pick out pieces of your favorite candies from the many bins individually. My favorites? Their chocolate-covered coffee beans, chocolate-covered lentils, watermelon wedge gummies, aleph-bet gummies, and, well, basically everything in between. My only dislike out of this store — online and in Monsey? The marshmallows. There’s something to be desired about the marshmallows, but to be honest there’s myriad options that will keep your eyes and taste buds busy. So if there isn’t a location near you(but seriously, walking into the store will take you back to those dime-store pharmacy candy days or the old general store appeal of candy in gigantic glass jars), then hop over to their website – – and buy enough candy and dried fruits and nuts to fill your eyes, your mouth, and your tummy!

If you are seeking a unique gift or special item for the office, family or friends, then you need to try Oh, Nuts! You may go through their website or in person, and you will be able to select from their various nuts, dried fruits, candy and chocolates. They are all Kosher as well.

Many times in the past I have tried a few different things through the Oh! Nuts website. I was excited when I found out that Monsey actually had an Oh! Nuts store. The wall when you first walk in was pretty much full of all different candy bins(most of which were Pareve) and most of which were $ 8.99 per pound. Since I could not decide exactly what I wanted I grabbed 1 of everything that I wanted. Then I moved on to the nuts, and I grabbed probably 2 cups of a couple different kinds of nuts. One of them were $ 4.99/lb and the other was $ 6.99/lb. I have never been good at judging the weight of something like this but since I knew it was about 2 cups of each I figured I had close to a pound. Much to my surprise when I got up to the register my total for everything was about $ 8. This got me very excited since it a lot less money that I expected. I took out my credit card, went to hand it to the cashier, and that’s when things started to go down hill. The cashier told me that they had a $ 10 minimum on their credit card purchases. I have on many occasions been told about a minimum however whenever a company does this, they are in fact breaking their contract with the credit card company. They agree that they will not charge a minimum. I mentioned this to the cashier and he was incredibly rude about it and did not seem to care. Thankfully I had cash so I paid and left. I did contact Oh Nuts in regards to this, and corrective action was taken.
