Coastside Children’s Programs

My 5yo just spent his last day at CCP Montara preschool, and we both cried when I picked him up this afternoon. He was only there for a few months, two days a week, but we grew to love the staff, and I know the staff loved him, genuinely. It is a caring and peaceful place. The teachers are sweet and enthusiastic about their work. The children get lots of outdoor play and indoor art projects. There’s cooking and sharing, reading and shapes and dress-​up. There are blocks and a play kitchen, all kinds of things to engage the young mind and encourage imagination and social play. The classroom is clean and well organized.
You can’t beat the location. I was able to send the 5yo to the CCP preschool while my older son attended 2^nd grade at Farallone View. Drop-​off and pick-​up was so easy because I only had to make one stop!
I’m just sorry we weren’t able to attend CCP for longer.

Throughout all of my years attending Farallone View Elementary school I attended CCP before, and after school. I was generally the last kid to leave because my parents would get home so late, So as though you could imagine I spent a lot of time with the staff here. I can honestly say that kindergarten through 5^th grade were the best years of my life so far because I spent them at CCP. With working parents CCP is ideal, I got to have a fabulous childhood and make so many new friends. Having a nanny or babysitter wouldn’t have made my childhood as amazing as i remember it to be. I still remember every single person that worked there when I was younger. Each and every one of them helped me grow up to become the person that I am today. Over this last summer I did some work at the preschool and it was honestly one of the greatest summers because of this. I got to work with Happy, healthy kids that have more knowledge packed into their brain that I could have ever imagined. I formed relationships with each and every one of the kids that I still cherish today. Some kids still run up to me and give me hugs whenever they see me up at the High school or shopping for groceries. In each and every one of the kids that i worked with I could see how happy they were to be there. All of the kids that I encountered at the preschool were the happiest kids that I have seen since I attended myself, and was one of those kids. Friendships were made, make believe castles and families were built, and laughter and smiles never left the kids faces. This is the absolutely best place you could ever send your kid.

All three of our kids have attended CCP in Montara. Our youngest is in third grade, our oldest is now a freshman in college.
CCP’s staff are great with the kids, and sensitive to the needs of parents. The social environment is excellent.
You also can’t beat the location. CCP is located on the school grounds, which makes it easy for the kids to get between the center and class, and it’s especially convenient for families with kids in multiple grades.
