We always stop here for vegan options and their smoothies are DELICIOUS!!! Tried Mucha Macha this time & loved it. Thai Me Up with Tofu is great and a generous portion– enough for us to share with a large smoothie. Every time I’m in Montauk this is one of our main go to places for healthy food.

2 friends and myself went in to get some breakfast on a Monday morning. We waited about 20 minutes in line to order. I ordered Flax & Coconut Waffles that came with Syrup and Strawberry Butter, and a Large Coffee(this came to approximately $ 20). One of my friends ordered an egg white wrap, and my other friend ordered an Acai Bowl. While I waited almost another 20 minutes for my waffles at the counter, my friends got their orders much before me. The Acai Bowl was a TOTAL joke, we were actually laughing at how bad it was. They should take it off of their menu. I was so happy that I had changed my mind at the last minute to order waffles instead of an Acai Bowl, but I felt terrible for my friend. This Acai Bowl was $ 15 and it was literally a bowl of granola with about a Tablespoon of Acai and a few berries on top. Have you ever tried to eat a spoonful of dry granola? I promise, it’s pretty awful. She wouldn’t let me bring it back in for her, so she just left with $ 15 less in her pocket and an empty belly to start the day. I do have to say though, that my waffles were delicious. Not sure if they were worth $ 20, but very good none the less. I’ll be sure to try a different breakfast spot next time I’m in Montauk.

Ordered a breakfast wrap and added on avocado — they charge an extra $ 5 for this! Ate half of my wrap and realized they didn’t put avocado in it at all. Was too lazy to go back in because it was completely packed and I had already eaten half. If you go, make sure you check your order!

I’m so long overdue for this review, but I’m heading out East soon so it reminded me… Joni’s is a dream for anyone who eats gluten free. They make incredible GF breakfast wraps, and countless GF baked goods. The line can be a nightmare, but it’s well worth it.

Best food ever amazing service The salad is really good the owner is very nice and it’s in a great location so you can get takeout and go to the beach

I ordered an egg wrap with caramelised onion, goats cheese and bacon. I initially thought there was no bacon in it as it wasn’t visible on either half, so brought it back. Apparently here was a bit of bacon, at one end of one half. Silly me for not noticing the most expensive piece of poor quality bacon in the world. Unfortunately for me the whole shop soon found this out when the counter girl shouted back to the kitchen staff«SHEDIDN’T SEETHEBACON». Thanks for that. The bacon debacle almost distracted me enough from the fact there was no real amount of goats cheese in the wrap either. Funky store. But the food and coffee leave a lot to be desired. As for the staff…

I stopped by Joni’s recently for lunch while visiting Montauk with my mother and sister. I wasn’t too hungry so I ordered the«little jack» off of the kid’s menu. The sandwich was good — turkey, cheddar and avocado on very buttery whole grain bread. We all ordered smoothies — they both got the four play(watermelon, strawberry, mango and peaches) and I ordered the berry bliss(blueberry juice, strawberry, raspberry and banana). I enjoyed my smoothie and my sandwich, but it took them quite a bit of time to make the items. My mom and sister got their smoothies probably about 15 minutes earlier than I did and they placed their orders after me. It wasn’t particularly busy so I was kind of surprised by this. All in all, the food and smoothies were good but the service was slow, and the prices are pretty steep — $ 14 for a small smoothie and half a sandwich. Be prepared to take your food to go as there is limited seating.

Big fan of Joni’s, I love the vibe. The wait for our order took a little longer than expected, but the quality was great.

We eat here every year. The food is amazing and as a result, there is usually a decent wait. Food is a 5 wait is a 3.

This is a cute little sandwich, wrap and smoothie joint. Lots of creative options, with fresh heathy ingredients. Joni has the routine down making many of the popular items during the lulls and being able to get customers in and out but with«just made» freshness,… although special orders will take some time. The Curry Up was amazing and big enough to split. Thai me up also was quite tasty. Food is 5 star. Gave 4 because on the pricy side(the example 1,75 for a small peach… but this is par for the course in Montauk. If you are in town do not miss.

Came here for a takeout brunch on a Saturday morning before a beach day. Boyfriend got the Olé Olé wrap and I got the Thai Me Up rolls. My rolls were blah. They weren’t worth the money, didn’t fill me up, didn’t blow me away in any way, and worst part was that the rice paper they were rolled up in wasn’t strong enough to hold everything in and it got stuck to the plate, so everything fell apart and was a huge mess. The Olé Olé wrap looked bigger than it actually was, and it tasted okay. At least it filled my boyfriend up. We waited exactly an hour for our food to be made, and after a detailed discussion, we concluded that it wasn’t worth the wait.

Good selection of items on the menu. Somewhat reasonably priced unless you value your time and the fact it will take 20 minutes(on a good day based on previous reviews and the time we waited at 3 pm on a Friday) to get a fairly basic sandwich. But despite the repeated poor Unilocal reviews about their service, this place still draws a long line. Maybe the food really is just that good or there are just limited alternatives. I’ll never know as I was just stopping by on a day trip to see the lighthouse and probably would find somewhere else to go next time just based on how slow their service is. As for the food, I enjoyed the Soprano with chicken, but without the chicken addition probably would be a fairly forgettable sandwich. GF enjoyed her Buddha burger and the quesadilla was tasty too but friend complained it was too spicy.

Waited over an hour for our food when they said it would be 25 minutes. Even after all that time, the order was wrong, things were missing and half of the food was cold. Being busy is not an excuse for complete incompetence. There are plenty of other places in Montauk that can handle the crowds. Go to one of them for breakfast instead.

After waiting on line to eat here I witnessed something so gross that I decided to walk out. Saw one of the food preparers wear their gloves in the bath room and walk out of the bathroom with them still on. Nasty

Food was good, service took forever and my boyfriend found a small, warped piece of metal that looked like someone’s discarded nose ring in his smoothie. The staff was gracious about it and gave us our $ 5 back, but it wasn’t really an adequate gesture considering the grossness factor. Probably won’t be back next time we’re in Montauk.

Super slow and not equipped to handle any type of crowd. I don’t mind waiting for something good, but 30 minutes for a scrambled egg on a plate… Nah

We came here twice on our MTK bachelorette weekend, it looks so cute from the outside and the menu looks fab. Plus, they have coolers of everything from reg water to organic coconut and everything in between. Their menu is extensive — build your own breakfast sandwiches and wraps, DOZENS of smoothies, coffee, and lunch sandwiches too. Everything sounds and looks really good and fresh. I’m not sure if they were just extremely overwhelmed when we went, but from the sounds of it this place is always like that so its not much of an excuse. We ordered a bacon, egg, cheese, and avocado on a toasted bagel(yum) but after 15 minutes our sandwich came not toasted and without bacon… major disappointment for a hangover breakfast! We tried again the next day and my chicken sandwich was pretty delish, but the wait was even longer and they gave me the wrong food twice before I got my sandwich. Unfortunately lots of people were getting the wrong food and mistakes over and over, it seems like maybe they need more staffing or a more manageable menu for the girls at the counter to work with! The food was good, if you happened to get any version of what you ordered. I’d maybe give it another try just because it was fresh and healthy. P. S. — breakfast sandwich bagel + a bottle of water was over $ 10, so this isn’t your money-savvy stop to say the least!

People were lined up out the door and whispers of ‘it’s worth the wait’ could be overheard as I waited about 20 minutes to place my order. The selection was out of this world — from the smoothies and sandwiches on the menu, to the chips and baked good lining the room — and this is what you are paying for. The egg white Cali wrap and chaiwallah smoothie ran me $ 17 for breakfast. While the food wait was about average given how busy they were(5 – 10 minutes) I waited another 15 for the smoothie. Neither were really all that ‘worth the wait’ as I had hoped — the wrap was small and the smoothie lack luster. If you’re in a rush or on a budget you may want to look elsewhere.

Nice menu display. Seems like it’s going to be a quick place to eat. This was the quietest I have ever seen the place. We were 5 for lunch. Sandwich or salads all around. Very fresh and light fare. However it is very expensive for what you get. $ 105 for 5 people.

Delicious sandwiches and wraps with friendly service. Healthy but hearty. A little expensive but it’s Montauk, everything is.
