This is a horrible dry cleaner. There are much better dry cleaners in the area. I dropped off a dress for cleaning for an event on a Saturday. They informed me that it would be ready on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I went to pick up the dress on Wednesday and found out that they had not cleaned my dress. The owner claimed that my dress additional labor due to the amounts of stains. I requested that he show me the dress and point out the stains. Of course, no such stains existed. He simply did not clean my dress. I was a bit annoyed, but what caused me to take my business else where was that he was flippant and unapologetic.(Not to mention he had my telephone and could have called, if there was a problem.) As a result, I could not trust a second time with my garment. Please take your business elsewhere; Shalom Cleaners does not appreciate your business.

Shalom told me that my clothes would be ready on Thursday but when I went in on Saturday to pick them up, you would think that my being there was nothing short of shocking. Not only were my clothes not plastic wrapped, but they lost one of my shirts.(No, I said, that man’s lavendar shirt is not my black crew neck, sleeveless top.) They scrambled, yelled at each other, became frantic and confused, and still no shirt. I have never had such a bad dry cleaning experience, and knowing that my shirt is lost forever, will never go there again… nor could I possibly recommend it to anyone. Just an awful experience — and the first time I went there to boot.

The service here is good, efficient and fast. Another plus is that they are open a little later than other local cleaners, so you can pick up your garments after arriving from grueling city work.
