It’s a must stop every morning. Also check them out at the farmers market at Walnut at on Saturdays!

Best coffee in Montclair is where? Bay St train station Monday thru Friday mornings only. These guys are incognito hard-core coffeefiles. Best cold brew in Montclair comes out of their nitro tap, so when you see it get it, because it’s not always there. If you have a few extra minutes, the pour-over is worth the wait. I’ve also seen a coffee bike at the Walnut St train station in Montclair, which is a lot of the same stuff. I don’t know the details of when they are there though. Their great coffee and friendly demeanor is the best way to get primed for the concrete jungle.

Just found out about this place the other day, and had to try it out this morning. Walked with my boyfriend to the bay station stop before he left for work, and loved the convenience! I was extremely glad that this chai is not like a Starbucks brand. You can actually taste ginger for once! It’s also nice that other breakfast snacks are available, too. Perfect spot for commuters, and a great pick-me-up! I can’t wait to be a regular here! :)

Ricardo is a master of all things chai and coffee. He only uses the highest quality ingredients in all his creations, and there is no chai that stands above his. Instead of tasting watered down packet mix and sugar(like many of his competitors) his chai stands on its own and tastes like a warm hug of unique spices. The delicate balance of these spices are mastered perfectly. This is a must if you are looking to enjoy a hot drink and a healthy meal to go before jumping on the train. This is a rare example of hand crafted quality drinks in Montclair(it beats many of those in Manhattan too and that is saying something).

Starbucks has nothing on this place. Hands down the best chai and pumpkin spice latte around!

Sorry Starbucks, but this is the best coffee in Montclair! I’ve tried their chai, and it’s also very good, but I’m a coffee gal and their coffee is my favorite. They arrive with their«chai cycle» and perch at certain train stations along the MSUNJ Transit train line. Walnut, Bay… I look forward to a cup of their Java every morning.

This little shop is fantastic. Ricardo was generous enough to blend some Nicaragua«elephant» beans with Yirgacheffe to make a custom pour-over coffee for me. A truly delicious blend and I look forward to every time I commute from Bay Street!

The extra jolt of energy I get from their amazing coffee makes my commute to NYC more enjoyable. Ricardo offers the best service and coffee in the area I’ve had, bar none. There are also tons of organic treats to pair with the amazing drinks he offers!

I love everything about this business, except for the hours of operation… I’ve been trying to get here before they close for probably over three months, but with my schedule it’s nearly impossible. Anyway, finally the other day I made it, and boy was it worth the wait! The chai here puts Starbucks and other chair teas I’ve had to shame. It was so perfectly spicy and creamy, but not too heavy and definitely not super sugary. High sugar content is the reason I can’t drink chai lattes from Starbucks anymore – they’re all sugar! You can’t even taste the chai. There are plenty of yummy looking treats here, which I have yet to try, but I can’t wait to go back and sample some goods and try the espresso! YUM!

A cup of delicious iced coffee every morning, complimented by Ricardo’s genuine and friendly personality makes the commute to Manhattan all the better. My mornings just wouldn’t be the same without starting at this stand at Bay Street station and it’s as if the waiting room has become a café! Thanks for making my mornings start with a smell and taste of delight!

The absolute best. There is no better place to get your variety of coffees and chais than at Ricardo’s stand. Every week he has a better variety of delicious options(hot and iced drinks, bakes goods, gluten free snacks, and a fridge full of organic drinks). Yogic Chai has gained quite the following of regulars grabbing their morning pick me ups. I recommend trying the Iced Almond Latte. Whether for the coffee or the conversation, Yogic Chai is definitely the best place to start your morning. A true Montclair hidden treasure.

A treasure. There’s a surprising dearth of good coffee joints in Montclair, but Yogic makes up for it. The Chai is the best I’ve ever tasted. The regular coffee is excellent, and I even prefer the pour-overs here to Blue Bottle’s in NYC.

I have taken the train for years and this spot just gets better and better. So much so, that even though I work from home, I find myself going to the train station in the morning to get a chai tea every so often. Cold brewed coffee, pour over coffee, chai tea, almond milk or soy milk options, yes. Gluten free baked goods, yes on that too. For what is a modest looking cart set up in the lobby of a train station, Riccardo has refined a wonderful menu with a great vibe. I hope to see his business expand to several locations so I don’t have to be the only non commuter sneaking into the train station for a cup of tea!
