Uniformed security guard at the entrance? Um…okay. LOL

This 99 cent store is big and very organized. They have possibly everything you’ll need! You can get great name brand products too when you’re lucky(Essie nail products, hunt’s tomato paste, pistachio nuts, etc). I always get what I need here :)

I’ve been shopping at this store for yrs for household staples, etc. I recently bought 2 boxes of Aspirin(81mg dose) and mistakenly bought the chew-able boxes instead of the coated 81mg dose boxes. I returned with the 2 erroneous boxes with my receipt to do a simple switch for the 81mg dose Aspirin boxes I needed. The cashier said«uh on, she’s returning merchandise» to the cashier next to her rather loudly. That cashier told me «It’s illegal to accept returned Aspirin»…I told her«the boxes aren’t even opened» and showed her, she still stood her ground and repeated herself as a robot! I turned to my cashier and stated«I guess I’m stuck with something I will not be able to use», she gave me «who cares look» and continued to ring up the rest of my items. I contacted the 99 cents website with questions regarding their return practices, til this day I haven’t rec’d a reply. Tho it’s only 99 cents, its the principal behind it and 99 cents should respond to consumer questions regarding their return or switch policies! Beware if you plan to return any merchandise to this store!

Big selection of things just for a dollar but some items can be $ 1.99 or more just ask or look at the labels before you argue saying it should be 99¢. The store is really organized and clean staff are friendly. Big private parking lot!

This is my main grocery store. They open early and close late, even on Sundays. They have a surprising great selection of fruits and vegetables. Prices are reasonable and they always have great sales. It can get busy sometimes, but there’s always parking and you can get in ‘n’ out pretty quick. The staff is always helpful and the stores always clean.

They have everything on earth. All charged 99 cents and even some digital photo player are sold for this amount. This is the place to be considered other than Walmart

This is one of the better 99 cent store locations I have been to. It can get a little crowded both in the parking lot and inside but the lines move quickly. As long as you stick to basic consumables you can’t go wrong here. If you’re getting electronic accessories such as earbuds? Don’t expect them to last long. You are getting what you pay for so keep your expectations in check.

Its a pretty awesome store but there is no produce. All the others that I have been to usually have produce. They have everything else though and the store is huge with lots of parking.

This location is awful! Do yourself a favor and drive a little bit further to the 99 Cents next to the Albertsons on Via Campo off the 60 freeway. The store is awkwardly arranged like a freakin’ maze. Everything is crammed in and the workers are so rude.

In comparison to the dollar store on Atlantic or on the corner of Riggin/Garfield at Monterey Park, this 99 cent store rules! Like many other Unilocalers stated, we are talking about superstore quality here, with LOTS of merchandise under 1 dollar. I go there to pick up gift cards, balloons,(enrich white =_=) bread, Gatorade(I think it was about 87 cents), and… CANDLES. I like burning candles… it’s an oddity I have. Superiors and El Super used to sell them for $ 1.19, but when they up the price to $ 1.29…that’s the last straw. When I found the same red, green, yellow candles for 99 cents I was so happy *_* Not only do I buy candles, I also pick up almond cookies. You know, the Twin Dragon brand that comes in a pink box? It’s sold here for 99 cents ASWELL! Other Chinese grocers will sell it for $ 1.29+… The 99 cents store is the only reason why I bother venturing around the area. I also like to enter Albertsons just to check the prices and smile at myself for saving $$$

I love this store and I kick myself for not going more often. I just re-discovered it a couple months ago and the items I love the best are: Glacier Water, Mineral Water, Japanese Peanuts, Peanutles, Canned Corn/Peas, Pepperoni or Salami, frozen Maple Sausage and especially their frozen garlic bread, oh my! I wish more cashiers would open, there always seems to be a long line.

This location is definitely one of the better 99 cents stores I’ve gone to. It’s pretty big and plenty of products to get for 99 cents or lower. They have stuff from food to household items to car products. I’ve only been here once but if I’m in the area, I wouldn’t mind dropping into this place again to look around for minor stuff. Plenty of useful products to get here for a low price. Customer service is good here to as their are plenty of cashiers and helpful staff working here. Parking isn’t too big since it’s located in a plaza next to Best Buy but could be better as their are other businesses around to share with. However, the store could be a little bit cleaner as some products are just laying around.

This is a pretty big 99 Cent Store. The employees here blow though. As I was walking down isles and occasionally passing employees, not one bothered to say«excuse me» as they were trying to get through. They just wait there and look at you. The cashier who helped me didn’t say one word… until she told me my total. But never bothered to say THANKYOU. Whatever… Would still come here just for the different selections of items they have. :-)

Busy busy busy… I guess this is how it is on the weekend or maybe it’s just a place you can get Christmas décor for cheap. We got what we needed and the line was long but what can you do. It’s the .99 cents store.

We popped in her today after lunch. We were really pleasantly surprised. It looked like they really fixed this place up quite a bit. The store is clean, well organized and well stocked. I came here looking for super glue, but left with so much more. We got some really good deals that included some brand name items. The clerk was also quick and efficient, and spoke clear English. This was like shopping at a whole different store. We were impressed and will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Macgyver could destroy a small state with all of the things they sell at this location that is just a fact… Luckily this time I got hot sauce and almond cookies out of the deal before he has to do so.

After going to Best Buy next door, my friend wanted to buy a 2010 calendar. We were at Target earlier in the day and they were selling calendar’s for $ 11.99. We take a look around the 99 cents only store and find three very nice 2010 calendars and each one was $ 0.99 each! Incredible. These stores have lots of useful items and the pricing is unbelievable. Xie Xie!
