I don’t really know why anyone want to eat at this place to begin with. Food isn’t all that cheap in a sense that with that kind of money I can order better quality Chinese food some place else. Maybe most of the customer that this restaurant have ordered delivery so they never experience how the condition is at this place. I ordered orange chicken with chow mein and fried rice while my wife have chicken teriyaki bowl. My orange chicken is prepared fresh but it tasted bland. Very doughy and soggy. Chow mein and fried rice are bland also except god knows how long they have satted under that heating lamp. I tried the teriyaki that my wife ordered and It was pretty good, I give them that, much better than the teriyaki chicken you get at places like Yoshinoya. Also, something that I saw over there absolutely baffle me in a way that I have never seem any other place pulled this or attempt to do this. On a table, they were selling bootlegged movies. Maybe the employee there try to earn a little extra money on the side while the owner isn’t there?

I ordered from here because I was looking for a place that delivered and I didn’t want pizza. I got the family pack which was for 4 ppl, noodles and rice and one item(we picked beef and broccoli) and 4 egg rolls. I think delivery was only 2 dollars. My total was like 21 dollars. Really cheap! It only took about a half hr to get delivered. It was a lot of food. The food was pretty much like the kind you get at those fast food Chinese food places that has been sitting under heat lamps. The rice was good, the noodles were okay but the beef was like gross and the broccoli looked old and it was all soggy. It was alright for the price and the fact that it was delivered was an extra star other than that I wouldn’t eat there.

I finally tried this place today after finding a coupon for their«lunch special for two». I had the fried rice, orange chicken, and egg rolls. The food was okay, but I can’t say that it’s anything to rave about. Dislikes: food was just okay; did not taste very fresh. Likes: price, fast service, clean, home delivery. Overall, It’s not the best food but it is inexpensive and fast food. I would eat here again.

Just a quick update. I finally visited this place myself, instead of having it delivered to the school, because they have a $ 10 minimum for delivery and everyone who would have ordered with me ordered from them yesterday and didn’t feel like Chinese on this day. I called and made an order for a pick-up and found the place along the street and hard to miss. The brightly colored outer décor was definitely an eye catcher. I found the place spacious for a hole-in-the-wall and the people very accomodated. I was greeted right away and served very quickly. The place is quite clean too. Definitely will continue to order from this place on my lunch breaks when I’m feeling for decent fast-food Chinese.

This place is good not great but good, I like the Mongolian beef there and the pork fried rice oh I also Like the fact that they deliver, I normally will order from there like 1 every other month When I am just too damn lazy to get my ass up and cook somthing or go buy something. But all in all it a good spot to grub on some quick Mexcanese food.

I had some work to do in Montebello and was unfamilar with this area. Mental hunger pains took over while driving on Beverly Boulevard and I needed something to eat — Now. Didn’t want to risk getting a ticket while Unilocaling on my mobile phone while driving. So happen to pass by this place called Bamboo Express. «Hmmm, bamboo sticks painted on the walls, located in a mainly Latino area, hmmm… I guess i could do some Panda-Express-like, Orange Chicken and beef and brocoli, ay!» I pull the car over and walk in. No faux-Chinese food. What they Do specialize in there is Tex-Mex food.
I should have turned around and walked out. I didn’t. My bad. The food was horrible. Tasted like it was made last night.
