Bumblebee Donuts

Bumblebee Donuts has the best Boba drinks and croissants! The staff is friendly and everything is always fresh. Only downside is they do take awhile to make the drinks. But worth the wait.

Been there a bunch of times get a free donut when you Unilocal them there on your cell phone. And they have one dollar ice cream on a cone which was great on hot days. :) yummy sandwiches too and their boba is exceptional. Their Thai tea boba is always great consistently!

I’m sorry but service here is really poor. First time I came in here two years ago they only accepted cash. At the time I didn’t have any. I had ordered a bagel with cream cheese but when the owner found out I couldn’t pay he just shook his head and walked away from the cash register.
I came in here a second time with my friend this past weekend. I got a donut and then he said «what else?» and when I told them «that’s it»… same kind of response. He said «one dollar» and just turned his back against me.
I understand his perspective as a businessman but I don’t normally buy donuts or pastries in general in large quantities. So perhaps it’s really me being a bad customer by going there in the first place? (I’m actually being somewhat serious) Pastries are more of a quick snack for me. I got the glazed twisted donut. The donut was soft but maybe a little too soft.
They really do need to be a little more mature though when interacting with their customers. You shouldn’t be so passive-​aggressive and make your customers feel guilty about not buying more.
The first star is for the cheap menu and the second is for their long store hours.

Ok ok here’s my story, everyday at school I have cross country and don’t go home until 6 p.m. give or take a few minutes, but occasionally there’s the miracle of us getting up at 6 a.m. to run (should I be laughing or crying. Maybe I’ll do both), and we actually get to leave school and go home when the bell rings!!!
WELL anyway, I’m usually hungry after school… Ok I’m hungry all the time, but hey! We both know you are, too #iwontjudge. So, I’m walking down from my school and looking for a place to get some food and maybe a drink AND THERE IT IS. I LOOK UP AND SEE THE MAGIC WORD. DONUTS.
BUT THATS NOT ALL THERE WAS BOBAAAAAAA AND SO AS CALMLY AS I COULD I walked inside and right when I did, the worker came out and patiently waited until I was ready to order! So I decided that I would try out their donut holes (10 for $ 1 ayeeee) and a Thai tea drink with boba. Can I just say the boba is so squishy and soft? And the donut holes? Delicious! And if you order a large milk tea/​smoothie, they give you a stamp card (yay)
In conclusion, it cost me $ 4.50 for the drink and donut which is insanely cheap in my opinion! (If you check into Unilocal they’ll even give you a free donut with a purchase of $ 3+ so go buy yourself a drink and get some donuts!)

I JUST HAD TO GO BACK ANOTHER DAY WITH A FRIEND JUST TO GET THE GREEN TEA (YAS YAS YAS) *coughs* um yeah… :] (Around $ 2 for HUGE scoops!)
Overall, I recommend going here with friends because there’s such a variety of food and drinks! The workers are really nice and they don’t even charge tax! Whatever you see is the amount you pay. So, what’re you waiting for? Get off that couch you potato (yea that’s right I said it) and grab yourself delicious drinks and food!

I love their donuts here, especially the apple fritters. Last time I was there they didn’t seem to have as much of a selection as usual. Hopefully it was a one time thing…

Bumblebee Donuts is a nice little donut shop that also sells boba drinks. The drinks are pretty decent and the donuts are good. Nothing extra fancy about this place, but the service is good and the product is good. The store is very close to my church, so it is very convenient. I always get the mango green tea, and it is a very solid drink.

We came in for some taro coconut smoothing which is not bad. What got me is bonus donut and extra small ones he threw in.

All 3 stars for the tastiness of the donuts. Soft, warm, not overpoweringly sweet, and easily satisfies cravings. They have a great variety of flavors. Thumbs up for the product.
However upon first impression the place seemed dim and slightly untidy. Service was cordial but the lady dipped as soon as I made my purchase and I had to shout «have a good day!» down the hallway without knowing if she even heard me
I’m not asking much for the interior of a donut shop, but overall a great product wrapped in an experience where much more is left to be desired.

Pretty nice place to grab something sweet or a smoothie to go. And they let you redeem the free donut offer after you show them you checked into Unilocal.As I was in Monterey Park for training, I usually called ahead to order a smoothie which was always ready by the time I dropped by.
They have the card reader to read your chip card if you have one. Place is a bit small, but decently clean.

My daughter and I love coming here after school for sub sandwiches and green tea. Free wifi. Good service. Now if I could only win a big scratcher there!

$ 10 for a dozen donut. It’s expensive. Not the best, there are better donut around here.

Also love the croissant sandwich but not a fan of the kielbasa sausage. Wish they served sausage patties instead

Very soft donuts. Good prices. Friendly staff.

Satisfies my random donut cravings.

The sandwiches are amazing and so are the smoothies! It’s also affordable compared to other places. I suggest you bring cash if you don’t want to pay 50 cents extra when using your credit card. They also sell fresh juices!

So after searching for the perfect Local donut shop, I think I found it! Not that I eat donuts all the time, but def a really good spot.
Pick up some donut at 5:15am the guy behind the counter was nice a bit rushed cause there were customers coming in so that’s explainable.
A dozen Donuts for $ 8.00 bucks not bad
Soft texture donuts and no greasy after taste like Krispycream donuts… def will return again …

Love coming in here when I’m around the Montebello are the people are always nice and they get to know you. I like how they have fresh juices :)

The donuts look tasty, the prices are fair. Open early! Great for early birds.
I got the bagel sandwich, and it satisfied my breakfast needs.

I hope to not visit this place on a regular basis. I say this because it is filled with things that are bad for me. That being said when I am looking to be bad this is on my top list of places to visit.
Plenty of treats, fresh donuts, Boba cravings cured, and other items still on my list to try. Ice cream sounds like a future treat, maybe even a sandwich or gamble some money, yes they even sell lotto tickets here.
Be aware they charge .50 to use a card to pay, which I think is typical, but they wanted to make sure I knew before they used my debit card.
Anyways if you want great donuts for next to nothing try Bumblebee, right next to Smart and Final. Enjoy.
