Ive always enjoyed playing at Montebello golf course until we held a tournament and had to deal with Alex. He is probably the rudest tournament director you will ever deal with. Such an unpleasant person he is and doesnt understand what customer service means. Forget verbal agreements with him because he won’t acknowledge anything that was agreed upon over the phone. We chose this course to hold a tournament, at least we can have someone half decent that isn’t rude to paying customers. Its not what a person says that ticks us off, its how you say it. In the words of Alex, «you have 10 mins to decide to play the tournament or get out and I will make sure you never play at this golf course again.» How do you employ someone like this? Doesn’t the golf course want to attract business, not push it away?

This is worst day of mygolf life!!!
I NEVER coming back and play golf here again!
We signed tournament contract and came here with some excitement … And retarted guy Alex who working at the pro shop and he charge more extra $ 12 for every tournament players last minute … And here is the worst part… He told me on my face and said «$ 12 more or get the fxxx out of the golf course in 10min… You guys are not a good on this course anyway»
WTF!!!
He is the rudest person that I ever met in my whole entire life!!!

I played this course with the men’s group on Saturday and the course played pretty fair. The condition is decent but there are some bare spots in the fairways. I do like the challenges of each hole and there’s a good variety of opportunities to shape your shots. Greens were average but rolled pretty true. Fun time but don’t expect PGA quality.

Played here once with three friends during the summer. Not sure if the guy behind the counter is always the same guy behind the counter, but the guy is slooooooooooooow. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but it didn’t seem like he understood any of our questions. Course itself is decent for the money. We were able to a 8:30am slot on a Saturday after calling in on Thursday.
