I took a couple of friends who were visiting from out of town, the location is really convenient, lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance. For the price you pay is well worth it. The building and rooms are fairly well maintained, got all your in room necessities, fridge, water cooler, coffee maker. Etc. The gentleman working there was very friendly. They serve very basic breakfast and coffee. Overall a pleasant experience, they offered me future discount so I think I may just come back here the next time someone visits me.

stay 2 nights, $ 84 per night. We have four adults, got a room with 2 full size beds. The room is big, has wifi which is very slow, TV, big mirror, a small refrigerator, air condition and a small table with two chairs. The front desk’s service is pretty good. Why 2 stars? Here are the reasons: they said the beds are queen size but they are full size. The hotel doesn’t have cold water. COLDWATER ! COLDWATER! OMG it’s summer and there’s no COLDWATER?! How can I shower?! The front desk gentleman helped us configure that, but when he left, the cold water also gone! We can’t never get the cold water out again!!! Is that funny? You always heard that«hot water is used up» but in here, you will experience THECOLDWATERISUSEDUP! OHNO, I can’t survive, can I get the cold water back please??! Give me the cold water back!!!

This hotel was very cheap only $ 60 for a large room with two beds. It was very old and seemed like they barley maintain the property. The T.V. had about five channels, and strangely there was no alarm clock. The room was smoking, and there was a sliding door to a tiny balcony. The noise from the street traffic was really loud. Luckily my husband and I were just looking for a place to crash for the night and leaving first thing in the morning, so it served it’s purpose. Could have been cleaner, the mold on the back side of the shower curtain really scared me…

Fat G. coming in with a review on the Western Coast. Keeping this review short, all I’m going to say is that the Garvey Inn is cheap, but you get what you pay for. $ 50/night or $ 75 for 2 people will get you a room in this motel that was converted from a Comfort Inn. The room we got was nothing too fancy: it had two beds, a small mini-fridge, a television that had a couple of channels, a phone, and a bathroom. Our room had a couple of wires pulled out from the walls, and there were ants in the bathroom. One can hear the sounds of the street at night. The Garvey Inn, which is at the corner of New Ave. and Garvey Ave. is plenty travelled, with a bus line and a road heading towards North California. The staff was helpful in assisting us with paperwork and a malfunctioning remote. Other than that, she didn’t speak much English, which made it difficult to communicate other things.
