I’m sad to see that this place is closing despite all that’s occurred because it was always so convenient for me to come by and chill. With that said, they’re having their last days of operation this weekend! $ 18 oz. yogurts(no toppings) starting today! Great deal, great employees(still)! I would definitely make a couple more stops just because it’s such a steal. Teas were also priced significantly cheaper than competitors at $ 0.75 for 16 oz.; they may not be up to par with TenRen’s/Teastation’s boba, but the drink itself is delicious. Give it a try before it’s gone forever!

I came here after hearing about the buns. I had the chance to try the almond bun and the chocolate chip one. It was warm, and buttery on the inside, but I just wasnt really that impressed with it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free wifi, so you‘ll see lots of ELAC students here studying at night.

Unilocal can suck a big fat one. I was the first to report on the sexual deviancy of the store’s owner and Unilocal removes my review explaining three times the graveness of my actions because it wasn’t a review. And then someone sent me a message asking how dare I give a business where the owner probably performed an awful sexual act on a young lady such a high rating. At least he wasn’t outraged over the fact that I never went. But I changed that. I went to this place. And to even prove a point, I took a picture I will upload onto Unilocal.Yes, I went to O’ My Yogurt & O’ My Buns. And no, I wasn’t thrown into an adult diaper, locker away, broke free and ran into an optometrist’s office. In fact, my visit was quite pleasant. I was driving through the Monterey Park area heading north to go drop off my brother and a friend in Pasadena. I explained to them that the infamous yogurt place was around that area, so we drove around the identical looking shopping centers and found the one with this place. It was quiet inside and I was convinced it was closed until a closer inspection. Two young ladies were working inside, unscratched and looking safe. Both were on the quiet side, but seemed friendly enough. And so I entered! It was awfully cold inside, the HD television was playing the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie and puns were lined up. Absolutely eerie! No, wait, that isn’t eerie! Sure I’m not a fan of those movies, but the place looked like any other Asian owned froyo place with cute design and plastic chairs. Less distasteful than the former old town Squeeze ‘n’ Scoop. My brother orders a chocolate chip bun and I order pomegranate/raspberry froyo. Some of the flavors like chocolate and strawberry were flat and flavorless, but the pomegranate/raspberry was the bees knees with just the right mount of tart with a hint of sweetness. Not over-bearing by any means. With some M&M’s sprinkled pointlessly on top, it certainly hit the spot. The highlight was certainly the bun. Quite tasty and warm. The fluffy texture and airy texture added to the softness and almost gentle bites of the bun with a generous amount of chocolate chips sprinkled on top. I’m not too crazy about froyo, but this really hit the spot. A dollar or two more than I expected but it’s fine. So O’ My Yogurt & O’ My Buns ends up a pretty good frozen yogurt and bun place, but nothing spectacular. This kind of businesses never really appeal to me in the first place(I’m not a teenager Asian girl, unfortunately), but it’s good for what it is. And finally, on the plus size, no adult diapers were slapped on me and nor was I locked into a soundproof freezer.
