I just went to Dr. Moro for an eye exam and glasses. It was a pleasant and good experience. I have only been to 3 optometrists in my life, and so far, Dr. Moro was the best. I will keep continuing to see him for eye exams.

I had to get new glasses since I was long overdue, and also due for an appointment at the DMV. I shopped around, and got cold feet from reading the Lens Crafters reviews. There’s a reason why they charge $ 59 for an eye exam at the big chains. So I decided to hunt around for an optometrist that had experience and fair prices. Les Moro was the perfect fit, as he’s been practicing for about 30 plus years there. His location is inside the Ordway drugstore towards the back. My eye exam was quick, accurate, and efficient. Dr. Moro also takes the Blue Shield 20% discount, so that helped me to go see a real OD rather than the chain store OD. The exam was $ 108 with the discount. I decided to buy my glasses there, even though they were more than willing to let you walk out with the prescription. I settled on a pair of Autoflex frames with round lenses, anti-​reflective coating, and it was $ 383 with the discount. The experience was very good, and I will be back again when it’s time for more glasses.
