We bought two sweet crepes and one savory. The sweet crêpe — with chocolate, was ok. A little tough, but not bad. My sweet crêpe, apple and carmel, was disappointing. The apples still had their skins on and were dry — there was not a good gooey sauce like I hoped for. The savory crêpe(turkey and cheese) was essentially a sad grilled cheese with packaged turkey. Not a fan. Wouldn’t go back again.

Great! I ordered the caramel apple add whip cream, and I was not disappointed! I also ordered tea. The tea was a HUGE glass. Normally when I go out somewhere and order tea, it is a small little cup for $ 2.50, and when the server brought my tall glass of tea for $ 2. I was very content! I will be coming back! This could have easily been a 5 star. but the server was a tad bit rude. But doesn’t matter the food and tea were still great.

Actually quite nice compared to some of the creperies Ive been to. It’s located next to the largest parking structure by the Monterey Bay Aquarium. CASH only. The crepes we got were cooked the way we liked it, slightly crispy edges, soft and fluffy middle. The fillings were about right for a crêpe. Not too overpowering, and the choices were appropriate, not Americanized. UPDATE: We got a case of the squirts 4 hours after eating here. Be careful.

Had a pretty decent. Chicken panini here. Focaccia bread with some pesto was pretty tasty. However, they seemed poorly staffed and so it caused a bit of delay in completing our order. The fact they don’t take credit and have it poorly noted in the establishment is largely the reason I wouldn’t return.

Food ok but the service needs improvement. The cashier is rude and the cook is no better. It is no wonder this place is empty when every dining establishment around is crowded. Initially, I thought it was because it is off from the main area but it is only a block from the Cannery Row. There is a counter where you order and pay for the food. When I walked up to the counter, the cashier told me rudely to sit down. I said I am here to order food, she then rudely took my order. Seriously, the wait was long for one nutella crêpe. I was hesitate to ask about, I was When I walked up to the counter to inquire about it, they realized they had forgotten my order. Sheesh, I only order a plain Nutella crêpe. Too much trouble for a crêpe. I am giving them One star because they actually apologized for the wait.

OMG! The banana, chocolate and coconut crêpe is to die for! They are huge crepes! The cappuccino was smooth and bold at the same time. A great mid afternoon snack to say the least. Must do when on Cannery Row.

An okay place. Nothing too fancy. Dirty inside. Bad service. Water looks dirty as well.

Ordered a crêpe and paninis. Crêpe was ok. Panini was poorly made, and tasted like it. Bread was too thick, they used American cheese slices pulled from the plastic wrapper. They attempted to disguise the poor taste with an over abundance of pene sauce and vinegar. They really should stick to crepes. I will not be coming back here ever!

Stopped in after a day of exploring cannery row and were surprised with how good the breakfast creeps were. Would go again but nothing too special

Crêpes are not made on site! Pulled from a package. One employee doing everything. Requested orange juice, as shown in display case: «No we don’t sell orange juice. We have Sunny D. The same thing.» No it’s not! And why is it in the display case? Bland crêpe. Requested some hot sauce to add some zing. Was presented with a bottle that had at most 6 drops in it. «That’s what we have.» No restrooms! This place stinks! Oh and they only take cash.

Great Quick Nearby Lunch Stop Before Heading Into The Aquarium SITREP We were heading to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, but after a 3 hour drive from Sacramento, we wanted first to grab a bite to eat. Knowing that venues like movie theaters, museums, aquariums — that have their own on-site food eatery — tend to charge an arm & a leg for the food. So we were very glad to spot the Monterey Crêpe Company just a block up and in the Cannery Row hood. THESETUP This crêpe stop was actually just located at the foot of the parking structure where we parked(for a flat rate of $ 7) and where the shared rest rooms are for all businesses attached to this parking structure. LEMENU The Tomato, Avocado & Cheese crêpe was de-LISH and hit the spot. A bit pricier than the comparable crêpe I get at Crepes-A-Go-Go across from the DNA Lounge in San Francisco, but a good deal considering the expensive hood we were in. THELOWDOWN A great reasonable crêpe stop in Monterey.

Located right in/under the Cannery row/MB Aquarium parking garage. The crepes were ok, a little tough, and the filling was a little thin for my liking. But overall, not bad. They only take cash, but there is an ATM in the store($ 2 fee). They serve coffee and espresso made fresh, so that’s nice. I’ll probably try another place if we come back, just to compare. Customer service was great, the ladies were very nice.

I stopped by here on the way back to our hotel after our horrible lunch as I needed some caffeine to wake me back up after all the grease I had just ingested. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and pleasant. I ended up getting a low fat, iced, caramel latte and it was delicious. While I can’t speak about their crepes, I can at least tell you that their espresso drinks are good.

You can’t really go wrong with a crêpe. We got what we ordered and the crepes were decent sized. The place was very empty even though we went during a busy weekend in August. the prices were a little pricey but crepes are usually not cheep. The staff’s service was okay as well. This place overall was«A-OK».

Ate here with the family mid-August. Sleepy little place near the parking garage. Barely any other customers and suspect the location, price and maybe people being unfamiliar with crepes was the problem — not sure though. We had four crepes — turkey and cheese, avocado tomato & cheese, applesauce, and strawberries. The last two were from the sweet menu and came with whipped cream. All four crepes were excellent. Large servings that filled the adults and the kids couldn’t finish theirs. Pricing was not unreasonable for what you got. They only accepted cash — that may have been the turn off for some people. They’d be smart to take credit cards. Cute décor and friendly wait staff. Our next trip to Monterey this will be a stop!

Great food. The price is right and the portion are huge. Make sure to bring cash though since it’s «cash only».

I don’t have a ton to say about this place. To start, big deal about cash only. You don’t have ten bucks on you? Stop your whining. Credit card fees on small purchases can put little places like this out of business. Regarding service, the woman behind the counter was soft-spoken and very sweet, especially to the toddler that was with us. When you are ordering at the counter and sitting down with your food, there really isn’t much customer service to speak of — I am surprised so many people had such lengthy interactions with her. We went for breakfast, around 8:30 am on a mid-July Saturday, and the place was dead. In fact, all of Monterey was dead, until about 10:00, when people materialized from thin air and suddenly the city was hopping. Everyone sleeps that late in a tourist town? Where the time zone is almost certainly behind your own, in which case you are actually not out and about until noon your time? Strange. But irrelevant to the review. On to the crepes: I ordered cinnamon sugar and strawberry, which was delicious but slightly overpriced in my opinion for what I got. The strawberries were fresh and firm, nestled into the buttery sugary goodness inside — a nice way to start my day. My dining partners ordered a nutella and banana crêpe, and one with egg, spinach and sausage I believe — they both devoured them until there wasn’t a morsel left. I have only had crepes at the Minnesota State Fair before, and I guess I assumed that crepes from a dedicated crêpe store would be noticeably better? But they weren’t — they were about the same. So either the MN Fair has great crepes, or I am just not a huge crêpe fan. Probably both. It was a tasty treat but I don’t think I would make an effort to stop into crêpe shops(creperies?) again — nothing against this place in particular but I personally think crepes are a bit overrated!

We stopped in here on a whim, spotted it on our way to the aquarium. So glad we stopped, the savory crepes we had for brunch were great! Staff were friendly and helpful. There were 2 people working so the wait wasn’t an issue as others mentioned. It is cash only but that wasn’t a problem as we both ate for less than $ 20 with something to drink. We plan on going back if we ever end up in Monterey again.
