not surprised that this restaurant finally closed up shop and gave up its ABOUT TIME… the prices where out of this world meaning way over priced for the food you would get. who wants to pay $ 44 for a med sized pizza or $ 26 for a lunch plate special? grant it the
food was good but their greedy prices is what did them in. GOOD!

Love it! Great food and very friendly. My family came here for breakfast three days in a row. Consistent, delicious, and wish I could have been here long enough to try all the German dishes.

We dropped in for dinner and ordered the sauerbraten and Weiner schnitzel; both were phenomenal. Good atmosphere and great German drafts, we’ll do it again in the future. Only downside was a little pricey…

I was here for lunch and had the Reuben sandwich on Rye and a tasty German beer. Both were very good and our waiter was very polite as well.
Add to that it is a nice place to hangout and enjoy a mid-​day lunch break. I’ll be back…

There are an additional 45 reviews regarding this restaurant on Unilocal that are all only «1 star» reviews, but for some reason aren’t featured reviews so aren’t factored into the «overall star rating.» I’m not a Unilocal fanatic and don’t know why only 1 start reviews are factored out of featured reviews, but the three star rating of this restaurant is very misleading. I’m starting with this because when I looked up this restauramt I could not believe it had three stars. I received the worst customer service of my life there tonight.
The owner was condescending and rude from the moment we walked in the door. When we tried to order he told us we weren’t spending enough (I wanted spaghetti and she only wanted a side salad) and that we’d need to spend at least 20 bucks. There wasn’t anything else we wanted so I said «I guess we’ll leave then» and he said okay and walked away. It was six PM on a Thursday and the restaurant was completely empty except for 1 other partron at the bar.

Will NEVER return to this restaurant.
This place needs a revamping. With a large party, we received poor service, although the place was practical empty. Our dishes were either improperly cooked or burnt when delivered to our table, and we had to request certain items more than once. Further, several people in our party had stomach issues after eating breakfast here.
