Cute little store with lots of nice toys for kids. They stock many favourites, like Calico Critters, Papo, Schleich, Playmobil. Highly recommended, though it is a little on the pricey side.

This place is filled to the brim with all sorts of goodies for all ages. I found a childhood favorite, Invisible Ink pad, and got to share this with my children now. I prices are fair and there is lots to choose from. The people who work here are also very nice.

I needed some stocking stuffers for the family for Xmas, enter in Thinker Toys. Who managed to not only have several vintage type games but also managed to have a license plate for my brothers name. Which I have NEVER. I mean NEVER seen before. The service was friendly, if not slightly overwhelmed as it was the last three days of the holidays. However they had quite a few fun small type gifts to go along with the box board games and the animal figurines. And quite a few brain teaser and metal puzzle games. Price wise they’re a little on the medium high side but I would drop in again in a moment to pick up some of the unusual and hard to find games they carry. Yay Thinker!

I was visiting family in the area and decided to do a little Christmas shopping for my kids, and this place was perfect. I found some really cool toys for my kids, the kind of stuff you dont find at Target or Toys R Us. Nice to see some different toys for all ages. Once I got home to the bay area I realized that they had charged me full price for an item that was supposed to be 50% off, I was a little concerned that they would give me the run around. That was not the case at all. In fact when I called the next day and explained my issue, the young lady working there was extremely helpful in taking care of the problem. I was very pleased with the service in the store and over the phone. Good Job Thinker Toys!

Came in here today to buy a birthday gift for a six year old little boy. I knew to walk directly to the back left-hand corner because that is precisely where my son has loved to hangout each time I’ve brought him here. That’s where the legos, remote control cars, building toys, trucks, planes and all that big boy stuff is. I was trying to find a great gift for about $ 30. It wasn’t easy but I did it. I interrupted the sales gal’s yawn and asked if they gift wrap. She covered her mouth and nodded in the affirmative. I sincerely apologized for ruining her yawn(I hate it when that happens!). She laughed, wrapped the gift, charged my card($ 37) and I was off. No lines. No 10 foot high shelves of crap. No kids throwing fits for M&M’s. It was magical. The selection wasn’t great, but it was adequate. They do gift wrap but don’t sell cards. Huh? They should sell cards. On this particular day, I would have gladly paid five bucks for one. Tip: Look up! They have a fun open ceiling with brightly colored pipes and an electric train.

Thinker Toys has kept me occupied since I can remember. When I was growing up my parents and I would frequent this area. One of my favorite places to go in Carmel is Thinker Toys. so in seeing another Thinker Toys here at the Del Monte Center I had to take a peak. The games and toys they sell are fun, engaging but also educational. During vacations I used to get puzzle and building toys… Similar to their Carmel location yes. they do have a train track. When my little brother was growing up he could stand at the train track for days… In taking a peak in there I was promptly greeted and I perused but did not buy. It was a nice distraction after going into Starbucks. I am glad they have expanded… A great place to check out when you don’t want your child to go to Game Stop :-)
