I really enjoy going here and buying some bread to take with me to Birmingham. They all taste great but I think it’s too expensive. Atlanta has these cheaper and Korea has them even cheaper. The size of their cakes are extremely small in my opinion. A tip is to buy the discounted items that are a day old. The only reason why it’s discounted is because they were made the previous day.

Arto’s Bakery is a one of a kind café that is very unique to Montgomery. The desserts are great and beautifully crafted, the overall interior design is so nice and calming. It is my favorite place to enjoy myself with a book and a tea. Not being a native to Alabama(or the southern US in general) I absolutely enjoy places with a multi ethnic and overall different aesthetic compared to other establishments in the area. And on another note, to those with a basic palate, Korean desserts do not over sweeten their cakes or pastries. So if you prefer sweeter, processed cakes then you are coming to the wrong place. I love this place and will continue to be a customer until Montgomery is no longer my place of residence.

Alabama Department of Health is not impressed. A’rtos Bakery 2775 East Blvd: Raw back/hot dogs in cooler at improper temperature; Employee drinks on food preparation table; Food safety training not completed Health Inspection Score: 76

The pastries are absolutely beautiful and from what I had(fruit and cream croissant), delicious. However, as you may garner from my other reviews, I’m picky about my coffee. I ordered an iced americano — it was ridiculously weak. I should have just ordered an iced coffee — I would have gotten more caffeine and flavor that way apparently. Since there aren’t any others nearby, if you need a Korean bread/pastry fix, then this is the spot. Just wouldn’t recommend the coffee…

I am so glad I have found this place in Montgomery, already recommended to my colleagues and hopefully they will check out this place for their next business trips! This café is open and spacious, the cashier girl is sweet and enthusiastic, lots of tables for you to bring your laptop or have a little gathering with friends. Free wifi available! I tried couple of their pastries: one had red bean filling, the other one had some type of butter cream filling. Both were fresh and tasty. They had so many other ones that I wanted to get, maybe next time. They also have some Asian sandwiches, other wraps and mainstream sandwiches on the menu. I enjoyed my visit and would go back again next time I am in town.

Excellent bakery. All the standard fare, plus some Korean items. The cinnamon bread was outstanding!

I’ve been here every time I come to town & it’s fantastic! Today I tried the omelette which was stuffed with fresh onions, peppers, mushrooms & ham. Delicious! Pastries are buttery & flakey just like France, so authentic. Keep up the great job.
