Food is outstanding and the wait staff as helpful and pleasant as one can find. Amazing to find upscale Manhattan quality in Monticello.

Ciao Bella is an excellent restaurant. The food is great, from the freshly prepared fish dishes to the pasta(penne ala vodka a favorite!), you will love coming here!!! The staff are wonderful people. They work very hard to make sure you have a great dining experience. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and relaxing. They also have a beautiful small bar if you just feel like stopping in for a drink and a delicious appetizer. They always make you feel welcome!

I will say its the best restaurant in the area. The service is top notch the food is upscale and delicious. I think they are better than most city restaurants. They know how things should taste. Never had a bad meal. My favorites are the seafood pasta, the ravioli, the chicken martini the lamp chops and the amazing amaretto cake. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely love this place! I never ate at Buona Fortuna, which is what this space used to be. But I have no complaints. The food is phenomenal, so much love is put into the making of your meal. The service is friendly and welcoming. This is the only place I know that gives so much to their customers. For example, the breadbasket is filled not only with a nice crusty bread, but what appears to be homemade bread twisted sticks that are dipped in olive oil. An eggplant caponata arrives in a small dish waiting to be slathered on the slices of bread. Not only that, but a cheese, olive, and jalapeño platter is also given. All their soups are homemade and contain a depth of flavor that is hard to find at other Italian restaurants(stracciatella, pasta e fagioli, and tortellini). Love every single entrée I’ve tried. I especially enjoyed the Flounder Francese special(I never order fish in a restaurant but it was calling my name! Unfortunately, I can’t find the pic I took of it on my phone. One night when I was indecisive, they told me that if I couldn’t find what I was looking for, they could make basically whatever I wanted. HOWAWESOME! The chef likes to experiment with starch styles — if you get mashed one night, you may get a roasted potato sliced and sprinkled with sea salt another night. The drinks are made by mixologist Cindy — they are lucky to have her. Desserts are amazing. Whoever came up with that Toasted Almond cake is a god. I’m a chocolate person, but I order the T A cake over their death by chocolate dessert everytime.
