We love a good bookstore! And this place was just that! Small in size, they were not small in selection especially the kids section which took up the entire upstairs. We could’ve spent ours there if we did not have any other place to go.
We love local places like this and hope places like Bear Pond stay that way. This a wonderful gem to visit.

A nice bookstore in downtown Montpelier. That has a impressive cookbook section. The upstairs is set up really nicely for kids who want to come up and read and look at books. This a nice place to come and browse through and find a book you didn’t even know you wanted to read. There is also a nice selection of staff picks that can help you make a decision on a book, or want every book they have reviewed.
