NEVERSTAYHERE! These people are the most unprofessional and dishonest people I have ever encountered in 35 years of staying at hotels. Their cancellation policy is deliberately set to cheat the customer. I made a reservation for two nights over a weekend. I cancelled the reservation(or TRIEDTO) on Tuesday. I called the hotel directly and was lied to. The clerk said, «Oh, you made the reservation through Expedia, you have to cancel through them.» This was untrue and I told him so. He was rude and just blew me off. I even called Expedia, though I knew I hadn’t made the reservation through them. They confirmed the hotel was mistaken. I called the Quality Inn national service desk and they finally, after one hour on hold, cancelled the reservation and gave me the cancellation number. To my horror, I see these jerks STILL took $ 260 from my credit card. When I called them again directly, they refused to rescind the bill and stubbornly charged me for a room I never stayed in and did NOTHONORTHECANCELLATIONNUMBER!

Room had a weird«wet» Oder. Average on cleanliness(noticeable spots on bed skirts and alarm clock caked in dust: junk) Wifi was easy to connect to.

The bed was so uncomfortable! Both of us had back pain the next morning. Mediocre linens and service.

Stayed here one quick evening after Telluride Bluegrass Fest. And beds were cozy, staff was very polite /accommodating — price v reasonable! We really like the friendly family who runs the hotel.

Hotel and room were clean, and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was so-so. This is the only hotel I’ve ever seen that served corned beef hash as an accompaniment to scrambled eggs! Tasted like it just came out of the can. There was no fresh fruit of any kind. WiFi was useless. We were on the third floor. When we tried to connect, it would appear to work, and a browser page would open where you had to agree to the terms of service, but after that, nada. Couldn’t connect to any websites. This happened on three different laptops and an iPad. The room had a wired network jack, so we finally plugged one of the laptops into that, set up an ad hoc wireless network and connected the rest of the computers to that.

I’ll update this review after I return home… BUT, this is the 3rd hotel in Montrose that we have checked into in the past 5 days. I’m living out Goldilocks and the Three Bears! The first motel was too rude, the second motel was too springy this one feels JUSTRIGHT… still early, but we checked in 12 hours ago and SOFAR, SOGOOD! and I’m NOT paying 125.
