At The Beach Tanning Superstore

The one in Moore is awful. Usually when I try to go to that one I have to find an employee to help me because they are never at the front. I usually find them in the laundry room sitting on the dryer (especially if it’s just the blonde girl working). They are way too pushy with the sales of tanning lotions, I realize that is part of their job and I imagine they make some commission off of it but it is annoying. Half the time when you don’t buy any, even when you are standing there holding a brand new FULL bottle, they get rude. I don’t want to be harassed to buy something every damn time I just want to run in and tan. Once I got talked into buying some spray bottle to use with the vesra spa. I used it that day and forgot it in the room. I went back about 20 minutes later and the girl at the front didn’t even go look for it, just said «No we don’t have it, dang that sucks for you.» What an airhead. The one off 240 is usually a little better, even though it’s out of my way to go there.

The prices are not the best, a little too high for my personal budget and are also more expensive than other salons in the area. Unfortunately, like the other locations I have visited, they put selling products at a very high priority and it makes for an unpleasant experience.
I will applaud this location for it’s cleanliness, it’s by far cleaner than the other locations that I have been to.

This place isn’t even worth one star. My wife use to work for this shit facility for a few months and i had been there and tanned myself and half the time I went in the workers were on drugs, they were higher then a kite (not off weed) these people were on some pills. I have came in first thing in the morning when they were opening and got in the bed with dried sweat and a trash can filled with trash. I have called and complained on certain workers and nothing has ever gotten remotely better, probably worse to be honest. I’ve called and said things about the manager and that lady still works there. The whole Oklahoma City and more at the beaches are CURRUPT and TRASHY! This isn’t half the complaints I could make on this terrible place but let’s just say I’d rather tell someone to tan outside in the middle winter then refer them to this place.

So I receive this nice little email yesterday that I can get 30 tans for $ 20 from At the Beach. I thought, why not, I’m taking a trip in April why not get a little color. So I go in and the lady explains yes you can get 30 tans for for $ 20 but you have to sign up for a membership first. She then explains how this masterful plan works. She goes on to tell me that I pay a little over $ 23 for the 30 tans (tax included) and says they will then auto withdraw my account on ⁴⁄₅ an additional $ 29.99 and that will give me the month of April as well. I explained that I don’t need april just this mo. In a nut shell this isn’t explained in the advertisement and just says «certain restrictions apply» not going to call it a scam but you should definitely disclose this in your advertisement as it does come across a little shady to the customer.
