Fantastic food. Puts subway to shame. Our new go to for subs. Recommended it highly

We love coming here. The people are always nice. The food is always correct and simply good. It’s just good food! Moore is the only location that we will go too. The tuna and hook and ladder are my 2 favorites.

Not sure why I would go to Subway after coming here. Totally yummy! And my daughter who never eats warm sandwiches is in sub bliss. The selection of house subs is significant. I had a hard time picking. I ended up getting The Steamer, but it was difficult choosing: Pastrami, beef brisket, provolone, mustard, Mayo, and Italian dressing, toasted on an 8″ whole wheat roll. I could definitely taste the difference in quality of the meat from other sub restaurants.
They offer about 30 bottles of unusual and interesting condiments in the bar, but I didn’t take advantage.
The décor is charming. The Dalmatian-​spotted tabletops were cute.
Further, I love that offer opportunities to support local first responders, important as this city has been ground zero for tornado emergencies several times. In fact, this restaurant is one block from the path of the May 2013 tornado that devastated this city.
Thanks Firehouse for the delicious lunch. I wish there was a restaurant closer to my home.

I created a Unilocal account just to write a review about this restaurant. My husband and I are visiting Moore for a state band competition. We love firehouse subs so we went out of our way to visit the one in Moore. When we walked in the entire staff seemed irritated by our presence (we were the only customers there). Nobody greeted us or came to the register to take our order. We eventually walked out and went to smash burger a couple stores down.

Today’s visit was good. I tried the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sub. Very tasty. They have nice kids meal options for the little ones, that even includes a fire hat. I would definitely come back.

I ordered three subs and all three of them were wrong and one was extremely soggy. One which I specifically said NO ONIONS on because I am allergic and low and behold there are a CRAP ton of onions on it. I couldn’t even eat it. I just threw it away. Then there was a kids meal that we asked for lettuce and there was no lettuce and it was also soggy. The bacon ranch one we got was absolutely disgusting looking. The bottom bread was seriously soaking wet like it was dipped in water.
I call and speak with the manager THAT SAME DAY and she assures me that we can go in on Thursday and get a corrected order on the house for the hassle since we were too busy WORKING to go back. Speed up to today. I send an employee to pick up the order and the manager is DOWN RIGHT RUDE to her and treated her like absolute crap and wanted to have an attitude because we actually came back for her to fulfill our order. She offered to replace the entire meal. I didn’t ask. She offered to give us a corrected order free of charge but then wants to get snippy about it? I really wish I had the time today to be the one to pick up the order because I ASSURE you I wouldn’t have allowed her to treat me that way. But my employee is too sweet and nice to say something.
Horrible customer service. I will be speaking with corporate on this one because the amount of rude behavior is unnecessary. Don’t work in this field if you are going to have a chip on your shoulder when YOU screw up.
Ridiculous.
UPDATE.
I start to eat my sandwich after I removed all the banana peppers that I asked them to put on the side and my throat feels super scratchy and I start itching.
Why? BECAUSE THEY PUT ONIONS ON THE SANDWICH!!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!

The sandwiches were fresh and delicious and the service was impeccable! Alicia, the owner, made our experience excellent! Highly recommend this firehouse location!

The best sandwich I’ve ever had!!! You’re missing out if you don’t give this place a try!

Pretty good sandwich (4 stars) but extremely slow service (2 stars). From the time we walked in the door to the time we had our food was almost 20 minutes, and there wasn’t anyone in line ahead of us. Won’t be back unless I have time to kill and a serious sandwich craving.

Turkey bacon and ranch is my favorite! Flavor puts other sandwich shops to shame. The décor is fun and focused on our heros.

Don’t even know why I bothered. Being from the east coast, there are just some things you need to leave alone in other regions, such as pizza, cheesesteaks, and subs. First time visiting this place today and the first thing I noticed were the heated subs… and then the prices. $ 6+ for a sub that’s about 6″ long is a bit much. I ordered the #9 sub, turkey & ham w/​provolone, NOT toasted, with extra mayo, oil & vinegar, NO mustard, NO onions. They got the sandwich right but THE BREAD WAS NOT FRESH!!! Fresh bread will make or break a good sub. On a scale of 1 – 10 for taste bud happiness right now, I’m at about a 4. Probably will not return. Maybe they need to do a ‘Hot & Ready’ light when the bread comes out of the oven like Krispy Kreme… then I would think about trying again.

Some people are complaining about the price of this place, but have they been to Subway lately? In the end, you get a way better sub for about the same price at Firehouse. My favorite is the BBQ brisket sub. The brisket tastes like they smoked it for about a week. It is really tender and really tasty. I love sampling the many hot sauces they carry. If you are into extreme heat, try the .357 sauce (start with one drop).

Stopped in today for a late lunch because I thought it would be fast but boy was I wrong. The place wasn’t very crowded but somehow it took 15 minutes for me to get my sandwich. My roast beef sandwich was very underwhelming. The sandwich was smaller than I expected and didn’t have much meat on it.
Disappointed…

It’s tough to give a sub shop more than three stars. Most are all the same. But the firehouse is a bit different. The corned beef steamer had plenty of meat that was steam warmed keeping it moist and tasty. The turkey with cranberry sauce was like moms thanksgiving leftovers! The staff truly sets this place apart. My new favorite sandwich spot.
