Oh Macy’s… I used to love shopping in store. But after last week, I’ll never step back into a Macy’s store again. I not only had a bad experience at the Moorestown location, but also the Cherry Hill Mall location. First off, let me start by saying that I will continue to shop on . Their customer service is by far so much more professional and a whole lot NICER than dealing with these folks at the store. Literally, rude person after rude person last week! So about my visit last Thursday evening, I ordered about 8 items from . I ended up not like some and decided to return those items in store(I was in the area, so why not). After patiently waiting in line, I was greeted by a lady who gave me a «look»… After huffing and puffing about me having to return these items, she finally said to me in a very impolite way, «Why didn’t you just order online when you could have shopped here?» Well, first off, it’s none of your business to ask, and second, I replied, «It’s merely connivence to find exactly what I’m looking for instead of spending hours going through the whole store.» Plus, can just narrow it down for me. Sorry lady, times are changing, and online shopping(ex. ) is where it’s at(umm… actually it’s been that way for years)! While she was scanning the items for the returns, one of her colleagues asked if she needed some help with anything. The lady replied, «Ugh… I don’t really careeee…» The colleague asked again and the lady replies while rolling her eyes and shaking her head«Just what-ever.» Passive aggressive much??? Wow… where I come from, that’s just down-right rude, lady! It was uncomfortable being on the other side of the register. She made me feel like it was my fault that she was having a bad attitude. Oh well, my next visit to Macy’s at the Cherry Hill Mall location would be the nail in the coffin for never coming back to a Macy’s store. Now I’ll have to write my next review over on the Cherry Hill Macy’s store… the saga continues…

Generally I think department stores are just for old people, but the exception is Macy’s, which really has its finger in the pulse of the American consumer. Terrific selection, amazing designers. The staff at this location is as friendly and helpful as any retail store. The gentleman in the men’s’ suits department was tremendously helpful when I recently needed a new suit for a wedding. Price was reasonable and it looked great! Check the website on your phone before you check out, as they often have great coupons available. One reservation about this location is that they seem to need more staff. Registers are often unattended or have long lines. Sections like accessories look like a bomb went off, disorganized with no one to clean them up.

Easily my favorite department store, Macy’s carries everything, from the essential to the extravagant. I find it the best place to stock up on bras and underwear, but it’s also great for shoes, bags, and reasonably priced clothes. The best part of this location is the clearance racks, which can fetch discounts up to 75 or 85% off. Go just before or after a big sale and you’re probably likely to get better deals.

I came back to return items in multiple departments that happened to be much cheaper on Amazon. Heck, what isn’t cheaper on that site compared to Macy’s? Each employee I dealt with got increasingly ruder. I wasn’t being rude back, I was just simply asking for a refund from my return. I can recall now why I don’t come here. I contacted the manager of the Moorestown store and she apologized, blah blah blah & the whole nine yards. She said she was going to send something to my address in which I still have not received in over two months since talking to her. Nice store.

Macy’s fine jewelry warranty is a joke. My daughter purchased on Michael Kohls watch One of the little rhinestones fell out on the thing around the watch face and the watch face was cracked. we took it in for the warranty and were told it would only cover the battery. They wanted to charge us $ 300 to fix the watch. I called Michael Kohls they gave me a Mail in place that for $ 60 would do anything and everything we wanted to that watch. They did everything we asked of Macy’s and the boar for 60 bucks and here she paid over $ 100 for warranty that was useless. I will never ever buy anything at Macy’s and get a warranty again.

Oh My God! A Macy’s that you can shop in! I can actually see thought and care in this store. This is the first time that we have enjoyed our shopping experience at a Macy’s in years. We always forget about this location but we are glad that we stopped here. Much better than Cherry Hill and well worth the extra 2 mile drive.

Worst experience! Went to the men’s dept to get my son a suit. Two people at the counter in the center of the men’s dept said that they couldn’t help us and referred us to the empty suit dept. We tracked down 2 employees in men’s shoes helping 1 customer. We waited for an opening and asked employee, David, if he could help us. His response was that he was leaving soon, but maybe could help. I said, «Never mind» and started to leave. He shouted, «That will get you far!». I turned and said, «That will get you fired!». His response to that was, «Go for it!» I was astonished that an employee would treat a customer that way. I was so shaken by this. What an ass! We did report the incident to a manager. Doubt it went anywhere. But rest assured that we will NEVER go to Macy’s Moorestown again. And will tell anyone that will listen to not frequent that store!

We went there two days ago, and the sales woman in cosmetics(Clinique) was very pleasant. Also, the store is very attractive. (Update on 7÷29÷14): We went there again on July 13 and bought many things on sale(really fantastic bargains), plus I bought more cosmetics(Clinique). The sales woman at the Clinique counter was really sweet, and the cashier in another department was also very friendly. The only negative was a cashier in another department, as she kept urging us to get a Macy’s credit card and it was really annoying. However; otherwise the store is incredibly well-run, and the salesman in the linens department was also helpful & friendly. I’m therefore upgrading my rating from four stars to five.

Never had a problem here. The guys that work here act way too Dixie to be called men! That bothers me. They need to hire more honeys(chics or chicas). That would make for a better experience.

The worst of the worst as far as Macy’s go. Where shall I begin. How about the girl that worked in fine china, who sat talking with her boyfriend for thirty minutes while I waited for assistance with sterlingware I wanted to buy as a wedding gift. When they finished, she proceeded to make out with him ATHERDESK for several minutes, then went into the back. Perhaps the men’s department, where the only lone associate’s idea of assistance was to tell me that they didn’t stock my size and I should go to one of those ‘fat men’s stores’.(I have a 40″ waist — so yes, husky, but hardly king kong bundy) — Plus F you for not even suggesting I check at Macy’s online, and for calling me fat. At least I’m not a dumpy no class counter person at some crap Macy’s. I’ll happily take my business to Casual Male. Picking out cologne? Sorry, the girl working the counter was from Chanel Men, and couldn’t help me with any other product. Seriously. The kicker? When I wrote in to Macy’s about it the store manager actually called me to apologize, and advised she was sending a gift card my way to make up for the poor experience and encourage me to return. It hasn’t shown, and neither will I.
