Ordered an item online for in-store pickup. I promptly received my confirmation email to bring to the store. When I arrived at the store, 3 employees were smoking next to the pickup door. There was one employee working inside, and a customer ahead of me. It took a while for me to get my order, due to only one employee working. It turns out, the 3 other workers smoking outside we’re supposed to be working the pickup area. The box I received was pretty beat up, but the item ended up being undamaged. When walking out, those 3 employees were walking in to finally assist customer. There was now a line because they hadn’t done their job in 15 minutes. The kicker was that I heard one of them say they were now going to go take their half hour break.

I hate seeing any business have such a bad reviews– but with Sears I can understand why. I’ve been to this particular sears a many a times and have never been impressed. My most recent visit was on a Sunday afternoon and I was looking for a riding law mower(a fathers day gift for my dad). I went downstairs the the garden section and waited around for an employee to help me… not my best idea. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes with no help. The few employees on the floor had no rhyme or reason for who they helped next– it is always frustrating seeing someone who arrived after you being helped before you. They have a good variety of products but bad customer services. This is one of the worst department stores I’ve ever been to.

I am only giving one star because 0 is not an option. I purchased a brand new washer and dryer and they delivered the wrong dryer so they had to take it back and said they could not hook up the washer because they claimed they could not do one without the other. One week later they brought the dryer and refused to hook up the washer. So now 3 weeks have passed and finally both appliances are hooked up, but I had to hire an outside contractor to hook them up. do not buy from this sears! I am currently filing a suit against them and hopefully this location won’t be around for long

I really WANT to like Sears… my mom and dad bought everything at Sears when I was growing up but for a long time it’s been obvious this company is destined to go the way of the rotary dial phone and black and white TV. Was there yesterday(4 days before Christmas) and it was not crowded at all. There were lots of employees on the sales floor straightening up, about twice as many tidying-up workers as cashiers ringing up customers’ purchases. So I was in a line of about a dozen people at the register. I realized at that moment that my last visit to Sears was exactly 1 year ago, when i was stuck in the same long pre-Christmas line.

Their customer service is the absolute worst. I could not believe the ignorance and rude attitude of the woman on the phone with me in the tools department. She acted as though I was an inconvenience making her WORK at her JOB and offered no support whatsoever.

A classic case of 3.5 stars. We like Sears, have had some good luck in the past with clothes for example. Sometimes you go though, and you have to try and find a salesperson to help you/ring you up, but then other times they are everywhere you look. Convenient location, never overly crowded, and a nice variety of stuff. A pretty big hardware selection too in the basement.
