I generally don’t like panning a place(«say something nice or don’t say anything»), but I grew up eating Philadelphia hoagies and I’m sorry to say Primo serves a poor example of them. I ordered a classic mild Italian and it was blah – no salami(that I could see or taste), no olives, no peppers, no black pepper. They asked if I wanted lettuce, tomato, and onions(of course!), but never offered the other things or even cheese! The tomatoes were pale pink and there was a little shredded lettuce at the bottom. On top of that disappointment, the place was FREEZINGCOLD inside. I ate in and kept on my overcoat but was still chilled to the bone when I left. I was the only one in the place on a Friday evening, with only 2 – 3 others stopping in for take-out while I ate. I don’t know if this is a newly-opened place or the locals have already figured out to pass it by. In an effort to find something good to report, I’ll say that the hoagie roll seemed pretty fresh. Wish I could be more positive!

Excellent hoagies! I love the Buffalo Chicken Cutlet with hot sauce. I have also tried the Turkey and Roast Beef Diablos; both are good as well. If you want a good hoagie, this is the place.
