We ordered this tonight for dinner and to say it was good chines would be a lie both my husband and I had to add salt for taste because it barley had any flavor and normally you don’t need to add anything to chines food because it’s already salty. I don’t think we will be ordering from here again! My husband also asked for some extra soy sauce packets and the guy acted like he had asked him to do a big task he wouldn’t give him any my husband finally insisted on it and he would only give him 4 soy sauce packets. Personally we didn’t enjoy the food or the service very unfriendly!

I was so disappointed after reading the reviews. My son ordered the hibachi. High price and nothing like hibachi. Very disappointing. My husband ordered cashew beef. No flavor. The wonton soup was good. Probably won’t be back.

I went here while visiting Mooresville, so I’ve only been here once. The lady that was at the front desk was very friendly. There was also a middle aged man with glasses who I’m assuming is the owner. He was also very friendly and was extremely attentive to my order. They’re prob the friendliest staff I’ve encountered at a restaurant. The prices were way cheaper than I’m used to. I can’t remember how much my meal was but it was $ 6-something. The portions were reasonable. I got the Kung Pao tofu with a side of lo mein. They added broccoli to my tofu with no extra charge. You can also get it with brown rice with no charge as well. The lo mein here tasted amazing. It’s seasoned perfectly and isn’t greasy which is hard to find. The Kung Pao tofu was also very good. I would definitely come back here when I’m in Mooresville. I wish it was in Charlotte it’s very hard to find good Chinese food here that’s this cheap.

I love this restaurant! I have been here many, many times in the six months since I discovered it via Unilocal! It can be deceiving as the location is in a small strip mall and for some reason(to my delight) it is never crowded. The egg drop soup is the absolute BEST I have ever inhaled! I have tried 10 or more different dishes and each one has been delicious! I think my favorite is the scallion chicken or the beef & broccoli or the wudon chicken or the lo mein chicken or the crispy beef or… Well you get the idea! I crave this food all the time, even if I only get to eat here 2 – 3 times a month. It’s a good thing that I live too far away for delivery or I might be bankrupt! Keep up the good work guys and I’ll see you very soon! :)

We have been here twice now and both times have been wonderful! My husband has tried the sesame chicken and generals tso chicken. I forgot what I ordered the first time but last I got chicken with cashew nuts. We have tried the spring roll and egg roll. Everything has came out delicious and fresh. The lunch menu is not only a good price, they also give generous portions. I love the crispy noodles you get before your meal. They are so yummy and its a nice touch that they give them to you for free. The people who run this place and very sweet and kind. The service is top notch and they greet you promptly with a smile. They also tell you goodbye and have a nice day. Not many places do that anymore! When in the area again we will definitely be back for our Chinese lunch fix!

I’m from the Greater NYC area where some of the best Chinese food is so I’m always weary when traveling because I never know where to go! I ordered from Huang’s Chef last night and was very pleased to not only find a place that actually delivers(EVERYONE delivers where I’m from, but not down here! Weird!) but the food was wicked good too! I’d defiantly order from them again! The people we spoke to when we called and the guy that delivered the food were very helpful and friendly, the order was correct and the food was great! We got the crab rangoon, spare ribs, General Tso’s chicken with shrimp friend rice, and sauteed broccoli and white rice. All were very good, fairly priced and portions were large enough to get at least two meals out of them(minus the crab rangoon, which didn’t last very long lol). Try them out!

Ok, so if you bring somebody here, tell, Yes it is a small place, but before judging taste the food. It is great. Prices are also very good. Ask for soup in big bowl, if you like, it sometimes is good for 4 people ;). Overall any dish is good, but red thai curry is my favorite.

Great little hole-in-the-wall place. We found out about this by chance, one day when I wanted Chinese food for lunch but didn’t want to go to any of the fusion spots around. Firstly, this place seriously needs to start charging more. I always end up leaving a 50% tip because we feel bad to be charged $ 5.59 for a lunch and leftovers. Since we only go here for lunch, I can’t really say much about the dinner experience. The service here is lightning fast. No sooner have you placed you order, than they bring your soup/roll out. And your lunch will arrive even before you are done with the soup. My favorite things on the menu are the kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, scallion chicken and my all time favorite, pepper onion with chicken. The last dish is the simplest, but most flavorful dish I’ve eaten here. The servers are always very courteous and will make sure your drink is always full.

Fast service and good quality foods. The entrees are quite large and priced at $ 5.59 during lunch time. Would visit here again!

I have never stepped foot in the restaurant but I can still confidently give a perfect score based on their delivery and quality. We have never had a bad thing from Huang Chef’s. The food is fresh, delicious and plentiful. The delivery is always quick and the drivers are extremely friendly. It’s a must order in for our family.

Came in last week and my order was wrong, instead of shrimp it was chicken, it was repeated 2x. Today my son’s food didn’t arrive cause it wasn’t put in and I wasn’t served at all. As cute as the little man is I probably won’t be coming back.

This is my go-to Chinese place. I’ve eaten in, taken out, and gotten delivery, and every time the service has been friendly and quick. Plus, the food is delicious and served in portions big enough to provide equally delicious leftovers for the coming days. So ordering from Huang’s Chef will basically increase your happiness by at least 50% for two to three days. But my favorite part(besides the food) has got to be their website, which is really well-designed and lets you place your order and pay in advance, all by clicking and typing. If you really want to, you can get your delectable Chinese food without speaking a word to anyone — but you should probably at least say thank you to the person who delivers it to your door.

I tried General Tso’s chicken today for lunch and it was DELICIOUS. Since I ordered it to go I asked for the sauce on the side as another reviewer suggested, I’ll definitely do that from now on. My chicken was crispy and flavorful and the sauce was amazing as well, I really enjoyed the slight spicyness. I previously commented on the huge portion sizes after both me and my fiancé were left with an entire second(or third) meal of leftovers. The lunch specials come with enough food for a second meal for both of us as well, but are priced around $ 6.00. We will definitely be making this a weekly lunch spot from now on!

Try the crispy beef!!! Soooooo good! I like how they decorate the plate and their menu choices are great too. My husband got the walnut shrimp, he was raving about it too! Will be back.

This is my favorite lunch place; I usually am here twice per week. The chicken curry is my absolute favorite. Most of the hot dishes are great as well. I like the chili sauce on the table. Lunch special is a great deal: soup and main dish for $ 5. Service at lunch is always fast and friendly. I’ve held off reviewing Huang’s because I don’t want it to get too crowded. But Ali and the gang do too good of a job to keep this place hidden much longer.

THEYDELIVER! I cannot express how very happy I am to have a great quality Chinese restaurant in Mooresville that is open late(usually to 11pm) and they deliver. That last piece, delivery, excites me the most. I’m also happy to share the food is great! Never too oily or saucy, always fresh and hot. Our favorite is the scallion chicken dish(oddly, without the scallions), with white rice, and SAUCEONTHESIDE. They’re always happy to oblige. This keeps it crispy for when you get it home, and helps you control calories — «winning!!!» I’m a spice-wimp and I like this dish, flavorful but not hot! I’ve also had their crab rangoon… I have been very disappointed by this appetizer at most restaurants, and I also believe this should be served with that bright red«sweet and sour» sauce, not duck sauce. So anywhere I go, they give me lousy duck sauce and charge me for the red sauce — which irks me. Well, Huang’s does it right! Their crab rangoon comes with the proper red sauce(finally!!!), is fried to crispy perfection, and also to my delight, is sufficiently filled with yumminess! Isn’t is just annoying when you get crab rangoon only to discover it’s fried crispy shells with a teeny weeny gallop of that cheesy-crabby-goodness? I know… METOO!!! Huang’s are filled the way they should be, and they have the right sauce — and you can’t have too much filling or sauce! I have also started ordering a side of lo mein. We usually get it plain, because my hubby doesn’t like a lot of veggies in his, but I would like the veggies. The lo mein is consistently good here. Namely because it’s cooked properly, is not at all oily(hooray!) and isn’t over sauced. For the low price they charge for a side, you get a good amount. Don’t be afraid to order extra, lo mein reheats well. Lastly, we had some of their won ton soup. I’m not a big fan of Chinese soups, but this one was good. My husband really liked it. The color(bright) yellow freaks me out, but hubby assures me it’s just salty chicken broth. The won ton dumplings in it are good. Soft, well filled with what I think is pork, and are simply but tasty. I HIGHLY recommend Huang’s chef. Give them a try!!!
