It was ok, expensive. The bed was really comfortable, the heat was good. The hand sink in bathroom was broken. The water was hot. No wifi, no breakfast… but at least we found a lil decent stay on a Friday night.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. We were in the area for a wedding and this was the closest hotel. We booked online for a king size bed no smoking room. What we got was 2 full size beds in a smoking room. We were told we couldn’t change rooms because they were full. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the room was actually clean. Both beds had stained sheets/pillows/comforters, and blankets with burn marks in them. We ended up taking blankets from our friends non smoking room(which was still disgusting but MUCH more clean than the smoking room) and remade a bed ourselves. We were supposed to take showers but one look at the black shower bottom and duct taped faucet made us decide to pass on that. Our windows didn’t lock. There was also no mini fridge in our room which was probably a good thing because our friends had old chicken left in theirs. Someone had also kicked out part of our bathroom door so there were just exposed nails pointing out… how safe. At least we had working lights and heat unlike some of the other rooms there. When I went to management I was told that the reason we didn’t get the room we paid for was because websites over book them so it’s not their fault. Also when I complained about the cleanliness I was told«Well, you’re in a smoking room. It’s not as clean.»(Apparently smokers don’t care about cleanliness) But then they shouldn’t be putting non smokers in smoking rooms because at 90.00 a night we are expecting a clean room(a telephone would have been nice too.) I was told to call back around noon to speak to the owners… When I talked to the owner I got a very hostile response. He insisted that we WANTED a smoking room and that even though our reservation said non smoking, we told him smoking. This is just not true. He said he could take 20.00 off but no more because that is their policy. When I mentioned I wanted to call the department of health after seeing some rooms last night he said«Fine! Go call the department of health. You’re not getting a refund.» and then he hung up on me.(By the way I’m not going to be the only person making that phone call to the DOH.) Obviously these people could care less about their customers and whether or not they get returning business. Someone needs to go check this place out and shut it down.

Not great, but ok for a motel I guess. The Knights Inn did provide a bed and bathroom when we needed to get a room in the area, but it wasn’t a nice bed or a nice bathroom. I didn’t shower there. The sink was held up by a block of wood, there was a dead bug in the sink, and the chair had… well, it looked like bodily fluids on it. The blanket was only a sheet. The back windows were mostly frosted over, but had areas that weren’t, so anyone could have come and peeped into my room. Overall, in an emergency, I would say the Knights Inn is fine for a night. Kind of like camping inside. It’s charming, in a get-murdered-by-a-serial-killer way.
