Petals and Pods

I attended Petal and Pod’s «Beginner Bunches» last month with several
friends. What a fun and informative evening. We got a group of 6 ladies for the class, so it was social as well as creative. I learned basic design
elements, and floral care, choosing a container. Who knew there was
more to floral arranging than taking the bouquet from the market and
plopping it in a vase? Karen, the owner has a great eye and is
wonderful at teaching her art to others. I especially liked being
able to choose from all of her selections. It gave me a chance to be
creative and experiment with different materials. I never know what
to buy when I’m at the market, but Karen had lots of choices that I
never would have tried had it not been for the workshop. I just signed
up for her blog and love her tips and pictures. Keep it coming!

I took the beg. wreath making class and it was fun! Karen had tons of material to choose from and the class was well organized. She was helpful without taking over your «work of art». She also had treats (hot apple cider and banana bread) which was a nice touch. I will take a class from her in the future.
