Really love the food, you can never go wrong with the flaming grill. Big fan of the chicken bowl.

Found this place today by accident. I was waiting for the Chinese restaurant next to it to open, noticed it and decided to try it. I absolutely love it, the food was fresh and it has great vegetarian options. The food is actually grilled and the option to have brown rice instead was awesome. The portions are huge and the prices are fair. Definitely a healthier alternative to Del Taco & Canton in the same center. Will definitely be returning again.

Absolutely better than Waba grill or the Flame broiler which absolutely has no flame broil or char on the beef they should be called flame boiler because it’s so bland. I keep thinking though that for over $ 8 all I get is a bowl of rice and limited pieces of delicious well prepared and delicious beef and for $ 10 a larger plate of the same. Given that you can get a standard Chinese combo for around $ 5 or a Yoshinoya beef bowl for a little over $ 3. I would say the pricing is a bit steep.

This place was recommended by my sister who is a very picky eater. When she said it was tasty, I knew we had to try it. I ordered the shrimp and mushroom bowl with hot ginger tea(tea was really good) and my husband ordered the shrimp and vegetable bowl with water. We both ordered brown rice and we were pleasantly surprised there was no up charge. Most times, in small fast food places like this, there is a small charge for brown rice. The shrimp were generous and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Not too dry and at least 10 – 12 shrimp per bowl. My mushrooms were seasoned with garlic and maybe butter? Olive oil? Whatever it was, they were tasty. I would have preferred more mushrooms and less shrimp-that’s how good they were. Compared to similar«bowl» places, they may be .50 — $ 1.00 more, but worth it taste wise.

This place has a wide variety of healthy choices ranging from chicken to shrimp bowls or plates. They even have veggie options like mix veggies or mushrooms. Also you can either get white rice or brown rice. The food is great and is freshly prepared. I might come back if I am nearby.

Had Flaming grill for lunch. Great food! More meat than you get at the competitors WG or FB; Also they are not pre made so if you want More broccoli with your veggie bowl, they will accommodate! Great alternative to Waba or Flame Broiler.

Excellent! Delicious teriyaki and excellent service. Food is better than Flame Broiler and Waba(and bowls are bigger)…my favorite place for teriyaki bowls.

I’ve been here a few times now and, I must say, I have grown to love Flaming Grill. «Why», you ask? Let me tell you… 1. It’s a HEALTHY alternative to fast food and restaurants. I come here for a post-workout meal and it’s great! I eat a quarter of the bowl feeling full and I save the rest for 3 smaller meals! 2. The food is DELICIOUS! Flaming Grill offers fresh, long strips of chopped chicken, steak, steamed veggies(broccoli, carrots, cabbage), mushrooms, shrimp, salmon, etc. 3. Since I’m able to make 4 small meals with one bowl, the PRICE is amazing! A veggie bowl is only under $ 4 and the rice bowls are a steal starting at $ 6.19. They also have hot tea(green tea, ginger tea, etc) for less than $ 2! And their portions are big compared to the competitors(WG and FB). 4. You can CUSTOMIZE your order. The bowls come packed with your choice of brown rice, white rice, or veggies. You can also request to have«no sauce» for a healthier alternative. My friend even asked for«broccoli only» for her veggies, and they accommodated her. 5. The CUSTOMERSERVICE is great! Everyone who has helped us has been wonderful. Even with just a brief encounter at the register, the young lady working the front welcomes you as you walk in and extends a warm smile! 6. Flaming Grill also offers PHONE-IN orders for your convenience! Everything is made-to-order and I don’t mind the wait for freshly grilled food… it’s way better than waiting at a restaurant on your lunch break – that’s for sure! 7. Oh, and the interior is CLEAN and SPACIOUS! Their seats are comfy and I love the pop of colors! 8. Their HOURSOFOPERATION are from 10am-10pm at this location, which is great for those that don’t want to eat fast food late at night. Their PARKING is shared with the other businesses in this plaza. Flaming Grill is located between Canton Chinese and Louisiana Seafood, behind the Del Taco on Frederick. If you’ve driven here during peak hours, you know parking is limited and can get very cramped when other drivers are backing up. Obviously, there are more Pros than there are Cons at Flaming Grill. It’s definitely worth checking out! I have now converted from Waba Grill and Flame Broiler to Flaming Grill because of the taste, and will happily continue to come back here! Try them out and let me know what you think! Enjoy! :-)

I like the food here, but my last visit left a lot to be desired. I phoned in my order ahead of time to be polite, since they were closing in 20 minutes. The girl answering the phone put me on hold immediately and proceeded to have a personal conversation with her coworker while could hear everything on the other side of the line. This went on for about 7 minutes until new customers walked in and she began taking their orders, me waiting on the other end of the line the entire time. This went on for about 15 minutes and eventually I was worried they were going to close before I can get my food, So I left and just walked in, 5 full minutes before their closing time. The girl at the counter said they were closed and that she couldn’t take my order. Are you fucking serious? After you screwed up and left me waiting on the phone? This is retarded customer service at its most basic, the owner was nice and everything the last 7 or 8 times I’ve been there but this place has definitely lost my business for good… I don’t like being made to wait on the phone like an idiot and go home empty handed because your employees can’t handle basic things like taking orders on the phone. Customer service is #1 and although I’ve been a loyal customer since day 1, I’m never coming here again. Your employees need to get their shit together first, sorry.

Delicious!!! If you like the flame broiler you will love this place because the food is tastier. Yummm. Place was very clean and the customer service was awesome(which is a big plus for me) … There were quite a bit of choices so choosing wasn’t easy(specially because it was my first time trying this place) but the cashier was friendly and patient. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get(much bigger portions than the flame broiler. I will definitely be back again!

Great food and amicable service! I was kindly greeted upon arrival, and I felt genuinely welcomed. The place is spacious and very clean. I decided to get the shrimp bowl(#10) and Thai tea… both of which were delicious! I took it to go, and I was given teriyaki sauce, sriracha, soy sauce, and a fortune cookie! I’m planning to come again, most definitely! I highly recommend.

Looking for a Wabba Grill alternative due to their«B» rating? This is the place. They have a wide selection rice bowls with veggies, chicken, steak, and shrimp. I ordered the shrimp bowl which was really good. The meat is flame grilled, you can taste the char. Would give 5 stars if price for combos were under $ 10. Shrimp bowl and soda was close to $ 12.

I like it better than flame broiler. So if you like flame broiler you should try this place. I got the chicken and beef bowl for 7.19. You get a choice of white or brown rice. The chicken was moist and tender and not dry which I like a lot. The beefs was good too. The bowl is topped with green onion and sesame seeds. To me teriyaki bowls are just basic meals to get when hungry and want something quick(maybe because I’m Asian) so 7 dollars for a bowl of just 4 or 5 ingredients is a little pricey. 2 dollars more can get you an all you can eat Korean BBQ somewhere else. Service was friendly and seating area was clean. Overall nice establishment; nothing bad to say but nothing extraordinary about it. If you like teriyaki bowls or flame broiler you should definitely try this place.

This place is giving yoshinoya and flaming broiler a run for their money. I really love it. First and foremost its a clean establishment. Now the food I had the chicken bowl it was amazing unlike any other I have had. U have the option to substitute brown rice. Their chicken is cooked to order so everything taste fresh. Their portions are big. I will be back to try one of the other options. Shrimp, beef, vegetables. I can’t stress how good this is come give it a try. They just opened a week ago.
